I realized today that I have yet to upload any of my favorite FFXIV screenshots from my time playing and I figured now is as good a time as any to throw them up here.
I tend to take A LOT of screenshots but most of them end up looking like garbage. So now and then I go through and weed out the good ones

So soon The Elder Scrolls Online is going to be released and im pretty excited.
I’m getting the Collectors Edition because the giant Molag Bal statue was impossible for me to resist. since the NDA was lifted a few weeks ago I’m able to talk about a lot of the experiences in ESO that ive been able to take part in since i am part of the (formerly super secret) PTS testing group.
On the PTS servers we were able to play more or less the complete game in order to test for bugs throughout the whole of the game as opposed to the weekend tests that are primarily for stressing the servers. In my experiences the story has been great. I played as an Ebonheart Pact Argonian and thoroughly enjoyed the progression through the game.
The only thing that we have not been able to test are some of the end game contents. Things I was able to test were the veteran zones, which are the areas of the opposing alliances that you get to explore and do the story for as though you were a member of those alliances. The difference being the monsters are all ramped up to be much stronger than if you had made a new character to play those areas.
Once release day comes i decided I’m still going to stick with the Ebonheart pact simply because I can finish it quickly as I know where everything is and then slowdown for the veteran zones. Since I pre-ordered, however, I’m going to play Khajiit this time through the game just to mix things up a little!

So along with everyone else who owns a 3DS I’ve been playing quite a bit of Animal Crossing: New Leaf
This should come as no surprise that i love it, which appears to be the common factor for this game. Everyone is enjoying it and having a great time enjoying it.
For a while there have been very few 3DS games to be really worth spending the time and money to get and play them. With the release of AC:NL and recent games, such as Luigi’s Mansion, the 3DS line up seems to be taking a bit of a turn for the better.
Pokemon X & Y will be coming out this october which i am also excited for as Nintendo’s first 3d rendered foray into the traditional Pokemon type of games.
All in all, if you don’t have a 3DS, Animal Crossing is a legitimate reason to go and get one. While you are at it go preorder Pokemon X or Y because that will definitely be the next popular game for the 3DS unless something comes out between now and then!
With the upcoming release of the PS4 also comes a new addition to one of my favorite game series
The inFAMOUS games have captivated me for years now. As a gamer and comic nerd it has the best of both worlds. As well as a lot of interesting things specific to itself.
And most of all
All of these combine to make a truly unique experience I’m particularly excited to see the transition from the comic book-esque cutscenes from inFAMOUS 1 & 2 to the street art or graffiti style for Second Son. The comic cutscenes were what first made me fall in love with the series, I dont remember that style being implemented as well before then.
inFAMOUS gave us a superhero comicbook world for adults in a time where people believe they are for children or that superhero games are childish or cheap in production value.
What i know for certain, is come the release of inFAMOUS: Second Son I will be in line for a collectors edition. Assuming they will have one.
its set for release early 2014!
