@jesterroyal: Yes there are spoilers in here. Nothing overly specific i don't think but it does address things from the ending of the story so if you plan on playing the game it might be best to avoid it.
I'm really excited that they finally released some dlc for the game. I s-ranked it last year and honestly have been looking for an excuse to go back to it again since it was probably my favorite game of 2011. I have to imagine that the dlc got pushed to the side after the poor sales of the base game which is why it is so late after release. For $5 I don't see how you can go wrong here, but maybe that's because I think the game is incredibly underrated.
Doesn't bother me one bit, I'll have enough stuff to play this fall already. Plus, I don't get too excited for games until they are just about out. yes, this game has been on my radar, but hearing that it will be 9 months instead of 5 months until I play it doesn't bother me.
I absolutely loved Rage and enjoyed playing it more than just about every other game last year. It's honestly hard for me to comprehend why everyone seems to hate it so much. Maybe people just need to play a game and try to have fun with it for what it is rather than poking it's little problems with a stick. I'm really looking forward to whatever Id does next, so it makes me sad that they are having to lay people off. But maybe it actually is just cleaning out the dead weight. Time will surely tell.
I'm really disappointing to hear it. I finally picked it up about a month ago and I loved it. Great story and characters with good fast action, I was really hoping that they would continue with the universe so it's too bad no one bought it.
The characters/gun skins that I should have unlocked from the beta are still locked with the message 'unlocked in beta'. Maybe they are going to patch it in later i guess, but it seems a little odd. I still have my beta save file and all. Anyone else have this issue?
I'm pretty excited about this actually. Gamefly seems to take about a week and a half or two weeks from when I send something back to when I get another game. Sure, I'm from the midwest which means I'm not very close to their distribution centers,(I think they only have 4 across the country) but for the price I'm paying I feel like it should be a lot quicker considering netflix only takes 3 days max. So I'll be glad to dump gamefly for 'qwikster'.
