So what is there to say about RB2 that hasn't already been said? To be honest, not much. Rather than recite the formula of winning mechanics and the outstanding integration of game modes / shop in a long time, I thought that the only thing I could possibly add to criticism of the game was an anecdote of sorts.   So, here goes.   Las week, I had several friends through for a night out. Too Flawed to Function. 0

Alien Vs. Predator was one of the first games on my old PC that really made me quake. I remember not quite being convinced by the wonkiness of 7th Guests' 'goolies in a bottle', or even the 'decapitation' in Phantasmagoria (my dad had a thing for horror games.)   But, when I first booted up AVSP and walked down that first flickering corridor, I lost it completely.  Fast, nimble, all over the place. And it was only one alien.  The rest of the game never quite lived up to that opening shock, howev...

I have more to say but... 1

As a player, this is GOTY for me. I love it. I will post more later, but everything from the dream-scapes to the recordings of the songs, to the rewards, make this wonderful.  From the lkittle moments, such as before the songs begin, to the bigger ones where they create an actual visual scape to represent the songs in Abbey Road - this game just represents all that John, Paul, George and Ringo had to offer. Love, love, love (as the song says)....
