Sadly most Simpsons projects have become far too self-referential to be funny. That said having a Will Wright cameo in the game was a great touch, ironically the video game industry is at a complete loss for self referencing.

Hey folks, jaded video gamer no. 78,456 here. Love making submissions to the site (that sounds wrong). Will be writing blogs assuming I am in sufficiently good or bad form. Jeff G, I hope you are as glad as me that you moved on from Gamespot, this site is literally the bomb.

I think that some Ealing studio comedies (Kind Hearts and Coronets, The Ladykillers)  are rife for hilarious point and click remakes. Check out Kind Hearts, its as dark as Doom 3 after being blinded by a shiv in the eye. See if you can see the potential for a great lucasarts stylee adventure game in there.

As for games that have me made me laugh with them, they can be counted on a few hands, early lucasarts stuff, Earthbound and any of that mad shit from 80's games made by brits.
