Good day all, I will cut to the chase.
I have been browsing all the different topics in regards to 'Building a P.C' or 'Best P.C to buy' and trawling through the technical info and websites offered by countless helpful people.
However, i have since been informed that due to some work commitments i will now be doing some traveling; up and down the UK and very rarely at home. Which unfortunately means a desktop will be placed on hold until further notice. Which brings me to the Assistance that is required.
After typing a similar search in, I.E 'Gaming Laptop'. It seems the general consensus is quite literally. Do not buy a laptop for the purpose of gaming.
I can generally understand the reasons, and i also support the argument for this. Despite these (no doubt correct analysis') I am still going to bag myself a Laptop, mainly to keep up with you guys and join in the fun through the early stages of GW2. (Though there may be a few other titles i fancy, nothing as heavy, mainly RTS etc)
The minimum specs for GW being:
- Windows® XP Service Pack 2 or better
- Intel® Core™ 2 Duo 2.0 GHz, Core i3, AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 or better
- NVIDIA® GeForce® 7800, ATI Radeon™ X1800, Intel HD 3000 or better (256MB of video RAM and shader model 3.0 or better)
- 25 GB available HDD space
- Broadband Internet connection
- Keyboard and mouse
I have about £650 and rather than pitching the above and being hunted down for my insolence amongst the other forums, i was hoping the Lincoln Force Crew may be able to help a fellow LF Guardian stay in the fight this August! Even if i am playing solo with room service in the middle of nowhere...
The kind of thing im looking at currently.Though as you may of guest. The insides of machines are not my strong point.
Cheers for any help and apologies if you feel its in the wrong forum,
I just know my way around these parts better.
