Yeah I have a G1 as well and it would be pretty awesome to watch giantbomb videos on it. At the vary least make the videos on the site android friendly. Then again android is suppose to get full flash support this fall. so we won't need no stinking app. Muwahahahaha
Yes TC the PS3 running Ubuntu would more then likely meet your needs. I would advise making some adjustments to Ubuntu however, like turning off bluetooth, power mangement, stuff like like. Also i would connect the PS3 to the internet via ethernet. Basically you want to cut as much of the fat out as possible to make Ubuntu run faster on it.

Good luck and have fun learning linux. If you do get a desktop as well, i would recommend using Linux Mint on it. Its a derivative of Ubuntu and comes with all the codecs you need preinstalled, like flash. Plus IMO i fill Mint is more stable and looks nicer as well.
Man i wounder how Microsoft even makes money off the 360. I know its from the games and live but with all the money they have lost from hardware failures it can't be be much. I guess thats why the 360 dashboard is full of annoying ads.
How about a G1 app as well? Fuck the iPhone. Seriously just make a better mobile site that all mobile devices can take advantage of and make the videos viewable via mobile as well. just use what ever video format Pornhub uses cause that works on my G1. You know you could just have those tiny ads that pop up on the button of videos like youtube does. Those dont bother me since you can easily close them or they go away after a few secs anyway.
Basically for some odd reason it will just output Stereo sound. Therefore the Badass Sound System i put money into isn't producing 5.1 sound. Highly annoying but there is a stupid easy fix just go into the sound settings of the Dashboard (or NXE for all you Anal people that need to have that correct abbreviation) and switch to stereo sound and then back to 5.1 sound. I'd say i gotta do that 2 out of ever 3 times i turn the 360 on. I have the habit of looking for the Dolbydigital symbol to put up on my soundsystem now.
Anyway this problem has been on the 360 from Day 1 when i replaced my old 360 with a HDMI compatible 360 back in the fall of 07. And no i'm not one of those TOOLs that purchased a new HDMI 360 to replace his old 1. Nope i got 1 free with my HDTV from a bestbuy deal and i switched out the old 360 and power brick w the new one and sold that thing on craigs list as new. After all it was a refurb RROD unit w a manufacting date of Oct 07 so basically it wasn't a lie.
And yes way to much information but what ever, i'm at work and bored like the rest of you working stiffs.
