Every Game I played in 2010

Here are the games I played so far in 2010 (not all of them came out in 2010 tho). To be updated as the year goes on.

List items

  • Holy shit, talk about being blown away. Played, finished and it's my GOTY for 2010 as of June 20th. And I don't see any fall / holiday game that can surpass it.

  • Played, finished, and loved it. Maybe because I had no expectations for it (unlike Heavy Rain which I wanted bad), was a huge surprise and one of my favorite games of the year.

  • Played, finished, and absolutely loved it. One of my favorite games of the year so far.

  • Played, and will keep playing for a loooooooong time. Until MvC3 probably :D

  • Played it and will play for a long time, one of my favorite games in years. I can't believe I missed the L4D train, but its not too late, and im glad. Amazing game.

  • Played and finished, loved it. Can't wait to see what they do with the sequel.

  • Played, finished, and loved every second of it. The production values are insane compared to most RTSs out there, and the gameplay is still as good as ever. Plus it has great mission variety which makes the (long) campaign a blast to play. One of the few games I was actually sad to finish, I can't wait for the next 2 games!

  • Played, finished and loved it. One of my favorite first person shooters in a long time, and, along with Metro 2033, proof that I'm not burned out on FPSs, just modern/realistic ones. Awesome game.

  • Played and finished. Amazing game, and with so much content it's unbelievable. The game just keeps giving you more and more puzzles. And with the "random" option, you can play this game forever since by the time you play most puzzles again, you already forgot how to do them. My favorite DS game ever.

  • Played and "finished", as much as you finish a rock band game. I love it, but I'm a big Green Day fan (that's right!). Will it make my year top 10? Maybe not, but it will always be one of my most played games probably.

  • Played and finished, and I loved it, one of my favorite games of the year (surprisingly). Some cheap enemies and frustrating platform sections near the end might keep it off my final top10, but still, loved the game and can't wait for the sequel.

  • Played and finished, loved it. Probably the best JRPG of this generation so far. Special mention to the voice acting which was great, sicne they usually suck in jrpgs.

  • Played and finished. Surprisingly awesome, especially since I'm not a big DMC fan.

  • Played, finished and loved it. Great action game but way too short. And Kratos is a dick.

  • Played and finished, and loved it. One of the best best downloadable games I've played, and proof that these games are getting as good as full retail games, if not better. Just a rgeat looking and playing game, and a great direction for the series (even tho it wont last since a traditional Tomb Raider is being made).

  • Played and finished, and loved it. Relic seems to be a kick ass RTS developer from playing DoW, and a little of Company of Heroes and DoW2. It's amazing how much I missed RTS games (proper ones, since I did play some 360 ones) now that I have a good pc again, and DoW is just the tip of the iceberg.

  • Played and finished, and like DOW, I loved it. It's actually a better game gameplay wise, but the story didnt have me hooked as much. Still, it's a toss up between which one I liked more, and from what I hear, Dark Crusade blows them out of the water.

  • Played every campaign, and even tho I loved it, I got it along with L4D2 on steam, and the sequel is such a better game, it pretty makes the first one obsolete. Still, I enjoyed the first one's campaigns, so much so that I hope they get made for 2 (No Mercy already is being made).

  • Played and finished, and I loved it. I'm a huge transformers fan so I'm probably biased, but I had a blast with it.

  • Played and finished. Liked it but felt slightly disappointed. The "twist" did nothing for me, and the second half of the game can't match the first half in my opinion.

  • Played and finished it. I really liked it, even if it didn't live up to the first one (how could it really). Still very good.

  • Played and finished. Absolutely loved it, and I didnt even play the original much. Game got me hooked for over 40 hours, even if the last few dragged on a bit when I was clearly over-leveled.

  • Played and finished (again, the SE) and, like the first, I still love it. I always liked the sequel more than the original, and the same holds true for the special edition. The art is much better, the interface is better, and the game is just overall funnier and with better puzzles. One of my favorite games ever now looks very pretty.

  • Played and finished, and I loved it. In fact, i went out of my way to S rank it (my first S rank, dont usually care about achievements), thats how much I liked it. One of the best DLC games I've played yet.

  • Played and finished, I liked it, but the short length disappointed me. The tales of a 20hour game fell short, since I finished it in 13 and half hours, and I did every side mission I found. Still, more DA is always good, and I can't wait for the sequel.

  • Played and finished it. Really liked it for some reason, even tho I know its not that good. But it grabbed me for 28 hours, all of which I enjoyed. One of the biggest surprises this year by far.

  • Played and finished, and loved it. Never played a tower defense game, but I really digged this one and was hooked for 3 or 4 hours straight when I got it.

  • Played and finished it, and I liked it. The linearity didn't bother me, but then again, I hadn't finished a Final Fantasy game since 7. It won't make my Top 10 for 2010, but I enjoyed it.

  • Played and finished. Liked it a lot, for someone that doesn't play multiplayer, I quite dig the Halo games.

  • Played and finished it. I really liked it, but it's way too short. If it was about twice as long, it would be one of my games of the year.

  • Played and finished (the special edition, which the site doesnt list for some reason), and i still love it. The new art is great (although not as good as the sequel SE), as is the voice acting, and the game is still a classic.

  • Played and finished. I liked it, not as good as God Of War, but not bad either like some people said. Like GOW tho, it's quite short.

  • Played and "finished" it, as much as you can finish that game. I liked it, but not enough to go after all the billboards and jumps and whatnot. Still prefer the old separate tracks system tho.

  • Played and will keep playing. Hadn't played a PES game in a while, I'm liking it but the lack of custom leagues (wtf?) is pissing me off.

  • Played but haven't finished yet, need to get back to it eventually. I enjoyed it even if the story is pretty lame, and I wish the whole game was in black and white. Still good tho, and something I need to get back to.

  • Played and finished it, one of those guilty pleasures where the game isn't that good, but you just can't help but like it. the whole pulpy / grindhouse thing won me over.

  • Played and finished it, really liked it. Wish it was a bit longer. Hopefully the sequel improves on the good foundations.

  • Finished it, it's ok, but I was disappointed in the single player (which is all I played). I'm sure if I was into multi player it would be much better, but I'm not, so it isn't.

  • Played and finished it. Its good but WAY to short, which is a shame. hopefully the sequel is longer.

  • Played and finished. I liked it, but its very short. Still, its a funny little indy point and click adventure, and I really miss those games. It was also very cheap, which helps.

  • Played and finished, it was ok. Better than I expected. I liked the combat system, and it has this whole "poor man's mass effect" thing going for it that I liked. Atrocious voice acting tho.

  • Played and finished it. It's ok, the shooting is pretty bad (worst bullet sponges since Uncharted) but the melee combat and finishing moves makes up for it in awesomeness. Pretty short too.

  • Played and finished. It's ok, but like past Spider-Man games, the only thing it really has going for it is the swinging and traversal. The air combat was cool at first but got old fast.

  • Played and finished it. Its ok, but totally carried by nostalgia and fan service. Got it cheap tho so its all good.

  • Played and finished it, it was alright. nothing special, but the voice commands worked really well, well enough to make me finish it.

  • Played up to episode 3, where the game bugs out and I can't progress no matter what I try. To be fair, the game was mediocre at best until then.
