I think that I' m miles away from acquiring these items. At the end, yeah this is what I'm going for.

Iron Flesh is what you're looking for.

I know, it really saved me in an otherwise hopeless battle with Centipede Demon.

If you still have the moonlight butterfly soul, you can go to the blacksmith with that and a 10+ spear and turn it into a weapon that scales with your intelligent, if you have around 20 it should turn you into a powerhouse. Alternatively you could turn any weapon into a magic weapon and scale with that. oooooor look up a guide to getting the Great Scythe which has a pretty good base damage once it has been upgraded a bit. Bottom line, you're probably going to need to get a good weapon, magic isn't really going to help in those areas.

Great news! I have 32 Intelligence! LOL

I could use a grenade/rocket launcher with infinite ammo and a stealth camouflage suit to turn the tables in this game.

just dragonstone glitch it and save yourself some time

Or dont and just work for it. Anything really will help as backstabs will be what your looking for anyways. If you can use quelaags furysword then that would be perfect.

If he's stuck in the game, and it's quickly starting to not be very fun why shouldn't he just boost his stats a bit if the option is there?

What is working for it? You mean he should spend a few HOURS literally running back and forth through an area to up his stats so he can get on with his game? I mean I get it - sense of accomplishment etc but at one point if you're REALLY stuck I don't see why not.

Thanks for the tip. It is tempting to try it, but first I must be sure that I exhausted every possible chance and that I'm indeed in dead end.

Damn, I hadn't imagined that things will get so tough later in the game. :(

@McShank: Thanks! I just synced my Xbox achievements, but there isn't any option for the PSN trophies. :( I guess it's only for premium members as I read in a comment.

@NekuCTR: I tried to run and pass through the mobs in Duke's Archives. Actually it works (out of 10 tries, 1 is successful), but at the end I have to fight Seath with always the risk of getting cursed and stuck into this place forever. I hardly managed to escape the first time. In Lost Izalith, running too is an option I guess, but I was wondering if there is some way to beat those giants with magic and explore the place without being chased all the time. I killed one of them with iron Flesh and Soul arrows, but I ran out of Estus flasks for the rest of them..

I reached the point where I killed the Four Knights and three new areas were unlocked. I tried my luck in Duke's Archives and Crystal Caves. I mostly play as a Sorcerer and Pyromancer I have high Intelligence and I'm SL.70. I found it just too hard for me. Then I made my way to Demon Ruins and Lost Izalith, after having beaten the two mini bosses there, and after that I found it nearly impossible to continue. I haven't tried yet to visit the new area in Tomb of Giants. I hate this level, going all the way down from the Catacombs.

So what am I supposed to do from now on? Level up some more? Does Wrath of Gods miracle do any good? It requires 28 Faith and I have only 18.
