Very generous package. Story mode, plus a huge list of missions. Excellent!
Is it universal, or mere European? I didn't get it. It's the second game of the series, I'm almost positive about it.
A consolation until the new Metal Gear game arrives.
I hated it! It was so cool and had very good graphics, but it was so hard to play, almost unfair. It's a pitty really..
One of my favourite PS2 games. Snake at its best.
Look at this coverbox picture! How can I be inspired to play this? Have its publishers ever heard of the word "marketing" before?
Technically unbeatable. Surely the best video-game so far. Still I found very tedious all these long cut-scenes. And I didn't like their content anyway. Too many cliches, melodramatic dialogues, boobs, and other cheap tricks. That's a good thing Hideo Kojima didn't choose to be a film producer, because he wouldn't have a chance really...Or would he?
The original is always the best. I didn't find it fascinating though.
Whenever you hear a pompous title like this, there is always a trully poor game that is hidden behind it.
Bad.
A tremendous strategy game.
Heroes live forever, and it would be a good idea to leave them rest in peace!
A good game, but it's time for the series to come to an end. Enough is enough. None gives a damn about Dante. Time for Capcom to realise that.
Sorry, but who was Daley Thompson? Carl Lewis of the early 80's? I'm an old gamer, but not that old to know him. Sorry Daley.
Ah.. those classic games of the 80's.
I didn't like it.
Robot battles mixed with soap opera drama. That's the classic Kojima we all love.
A decent action game.
So cute! but not so good as a game.
I loved it as a kid. A tricky game.
Monotonous. I guess I'm not a Castlevania fan after all.
I had a great time playing this.
Niko Belic: such a dislikable character! He didn't inspire me a bit to play the game to the end.
Not much improvement from the previous one.
An unforgettable game.
Classic. Probably the best Broken Sword.
I doubt if I will ever play this ancient title. I feel strange for this game: I love it and hate at the same time. I love it, because it's the very first step in achieving the Final Fantasy 7 grandeur. I hate it for the same reasons. Because if it hadn't been the very first step for that huge success of #7, now the world would never had seen such a lame game, as Final Fantasy 12!
I didn't play it. I left it after the first 30 minutes, so I don't really have an opinion for this game. But looking at this stupid coverbox picture, I feel worried...
Very good title! Honestly, I didn't expect to be that good.
"I Want to Break thru"
It is considered by the Final Fantasy veterans as the best title of the series. I can see their point: story, graphics, battle system, and music, are all top.
Total crap, nothing compared to the original Bomb Jack for ZX Spectrum.
My absolute favourite video-game of all times. Awesome graphics, simple straight-forward battle system, compelling and sensitive story, and probably the best music ever composed for a game.
I fell for that, as many gamers did.
A Baldur's Gate clone, with some very humorous lines from the protagonist.
Somehow I own this game, I don't remember how, when, or why.
The first "speaking" RPG title. We all felt exactly the same thrill, as the audience of 1930's, when they watched for the first time a speaking Chaplin film.
I'm extremely suspicious with game titles in Latin.
It has almost become a habbit for all the Final Fantasy fans, when reffering to FFX-2, to always compare it with FFX, and always think of it as an inferior game. I don't feel the same about it. I'm perhaps the only person in our entire solar system, that liked FFX-2 better. For two reasons: The first is philosophical: As a game, It doesn't take itself so seriously. The second is practical. It has a big replay value, as there are countless of unlockables, and complex strategies to achieve them, while FFX has no replay value at all. No unlockables, no extras, no nothing! You end the game, and that's pretty much everything. If you want to play it again, you simply start over from the beginning. I hate that in a game.
Not a fan of the series, but I respect it as a milestone in gaming.
I know that Final Fantasy devotees will crusify me at least, but I hate this game! Pompous, ridiculously serious, and most important, minimal gaming pleasure from playing it. I hope it's only a parenthesis in the series.
I guess it was impressive for me, as for any 10 years old child.
Same here, plus it lacks the originality of the first one. Naturally.
I just loved that red cassette of this game. I don't remember anything else from it.
It has a unique charm, but at at the same time it is kind of autistic in a way. Lost in its own special world. It doesn't exactly welcome you either. It is you that must make the first move. A totally "sui generis" RPG, and for that, very dear to me.
Unfortunately not the original PS game, but the the XBOX Live edition. I never quite understood though what's all the fuss about this title. Very stylish game alright, but out-dated, even for the time of its original release.
One of the worst PS2 games. A traumatic experience. I don't even want to remember of it.
Amazing graphics, and trully incredible lighting effects. "Rembrandt" of survival horror, one could say. Well.. ok, it's a little exaggerated comment, but you know what I mean...
Does anyone know, where can I find the 11 previous "C" games? I checked on eBay but I had no luck.
Very dear one. I had a lot of fun, untill I discovered ISS Pro Evolution of course.
Nothing special.
I bought this footie-simulation with huge enthusiasm, but regretted it soon, after repeatedly being crushed by some ruthless online veterans. I'm talking about 9-1, 7-0, 6-1, this type of matches. When I lost only 1-0, I opened a champagne bottle!
My very first Playstation game. I was amazed.
Thousands of gaming hours into this one. Thank you Konami for this brilliant game.
This game has the worst graphics and control system I've ever seen in a video-game. Trully phenomenal!
A prehistoric Mortal Kombat title with no save system. Can you imagine it? Today it is considered as classic.
I just loved the story mode. Unrivaled!
Almost as good as #2, but different.
Good fighting action, nice animations and sexy bodies to look at. Shallow isn't always a bad thing for a game.
There's only a black spot in this game. What on earth Jendai characters have to do with the Soul Calibur universe? Some license granted for that. Yes sure, but why bother? They don't belong here.
it is insanely hard, it's frustrating, the controls are awful, your controller’s integrity is in jeopardy too, and you also face a high risk of suffering a nervous break down, and at some extremely rare cases of over-intense "A,B,A,B,A,B,A,B,A,B,A,B,A,B,A,B,A,B,A,B,A,B" alternate button hitting, a heart attack. Also it is kind of funny! One of my favourites.
It's the first very hard game of modern era that I finished! Strangely enough, I wasn't very happy from this deed. Instead, my Soul was filled with anger for all the time and effort spent in this sadistic game.
Don't you just love this fellow? Actually I appreciate this kind of lightness in a game. Also, I'm tired of reading in professional reviews that "Duke Nukem.Time to Kill" is a Tomb Raider clone. Controlling a 3-D figure from a third person view, that can shoot at enemies, and climb stairs shouldn't be the sole criterion of resemblance. If that's the case, I suggest that "Duke Nukem" can be considered as the archetype game for "Uncharted. Drake's Fortune" as well. Fair enough I think.
It looks and plays exactly the same like Capcom's Resident Evil 3, or Dino Crisis, which I find very good about this game.
I really got scared with this one.
A very good alternative for Metal Gear Solid...What am I saying? Metal Gear is unrivaled.
A very special game that I didn't like, but have a huge respect for it.
Many gamers are crazy about this game. Donald Duck together with Final Fantasy's Cloud. Wow!!! Sorry, but it seems at least naive to me. I guess I lost my childhood inocense in the way.
Too cartoonish for me.
Visually stunning. I don't much liked the battle system.
I played it to the end. A very good game that I don't want to play again. Not my type of game.
Too violent. There is enough violence in our everyday life, no need for extra portion.
Surprisingly good, even though I'm not a fan of the series.
Classic.
Absolutely fantastic game!
Not so good as Command & Conquer 3.
Good.
A game that I never played it. Why did I buy it?
Not so good as FIFA 09. The online mode is horrible!
Too hard for me. Did I tell that I hate strategy-RPGs?
I've never played a more addictive game in my whole life.
The best Civilization game.
The coverbox image of "Civilization Revolution" puzzled me to say the truth, as I was wondering why the world leaders looked, as if they had been taken out form some comic book, but I said to myself: "you shouldn't judge a game by its cover". Well, sometimes one should!
They made a mockery of "Civilization" with this title.
Fantastic collection, but honestly who can play these games today?
Why is it so hard? Get out of here!
I got so angry with this game, that I wrote a review, and posted a video in YouTube, for people to know what they are going to suffer from, if they play the PS2 version.
Never buy a game that belongs into a movie, or TV franchise. I usually follow this rule strictly. But I wasn't aware that Lundblum, Ludlum, Bourne, or whatever, was such a release. Damn! Read carefully the backcover text, you video-game junkie!
A very good football game.
Very good racing game. A Gran Turismo clone actually, and in some parts superior than GT itself.
Flashy, but shallow.
Beautiful in every aspect. My favourite PS3 game.
It's fun, but it gets really hard after a while.
Visually stunning. A great game.
Classic.
Decent fighter, but pretty mild for a Mortal Kombat game. Not thrilled.
Not as good as the first one. It has more cars in it, but the visuals are mediocre.
One of the main reasons, why I love video-games.
A failed experiment, one that a true Tomb Raider fan like me, must have the greatness to forgive, for the sake of Lara's glorious past.
Good game, but something is missing. It's soulless.
Tomb Raider Anniversary is one of those ultra rare cases, where a remake is...actually good!
It can't be compared though to the original game. That game was unbeatable in every aspect.
I hate this cliche when I read it elsewhere, but here I go... I will write it my self too for this game: it's short.
Superb racer.
Incredible gaming experience, but after some point it repeats itself.
With Soul Calibur and Tekken around, it doesn't have a chance.
It isn't beautiful at all. Too hard, and the controls are horrible.
My favourite next-gen horror game.
It's so bad that it's hilarious. Worth every penny of it.
Addictive and fun
All this X360 technology for a game that looks so grey as the asphalt! And the characters are as much dislikable, as the aliens they are fighting with. Well, that's not true... The aliens look slightly better.
The absolute action-RPG title! The crown jewel of my collection
I thought it was only a shooting game, but it's not the case with this title. Sick realism! If anyone wants to live this experience, then why don't arrange a trip to Iraq?
I just feel repeled from this bearded face on the coverbox. From the 5 games package, I've only played Portal, and Iiked it.
A great game that possibly I will never play, mainly for 3 reasons: 1. Its an NTSC version and during the last 34 years of my life, I live in a PAL zone. 2. I will probably never buy such a powerfull computer that can handle the Playstation emulators, without crashing. 3. Because of the previous two reasons, I prefer just having it sealed, as a living proof, that PAL and NTSC region locked games practice SUCKS!
Not my style really.
This characters gets to my nerves. I don't know why.
I never understood, why it is so much praised.
I purchased it just recently. I guess I was "a little" late, so I couldn't really appreciate its virtues. Unfortunately it's totally unplayable today. I'm sad for that. If I was a millionaire, I would had bought it in the first place, as all the new games of the world. I can't do anything to change that. And I'm not going to sell my house either, just to be able to buy every new game that is released. That's the cruel reality. Some games are to be missed in the process. That's how it works.
..and the news for today are: the weather will be good, the oil price will further drop, a video of Paris Hilton nude was uploaded on YouTube, and the Tekken characters are resurrected. Is it their fifth resurrection, or did I just loose the count. What are they? zombies?
Wait a minute... oh it's a "dark" resurrection, not a standard one. Now I got it! So, to be fair, it's only their first dark resurrection. No problem with that I guess.
Why did I buy it anyway? I don't like skate boards.
The best Crash Bandicoot title.
It's not the Crash we all loved. It's a clone, and a dump one.
Amazing.
With World of Warcraft it was like being in a gaming heaven for six months. Then slowly it began to fade away...until I got totally bored.
Grand Theft Auto III style, but before GTA III was even conceived. Ahead of its time.
Don't you just love Regina? Awesome game.
A tremendous action game. Even better than the first one.
Resident Evil clone, and not a very good one.
Top graphics and bad handling of the cars. Result: 5/10
An unforgettable experience! The feeling that I got when I successfully landed an airplane for the first time is no match to anything! You have to play this game!
Nice atmoshere, interesting and original gameplay, but with many flaws.
Crap.
Short, but miracles aren't supposed to last long.
I want my money back!
While on PSP is a cult game, on PS3 it's crippled. The controls are awfull, and precise controling is what this game is all about.
Go! and not come back!
The real pain was when I realised that I downloaded not a full game, but a playable demo.
As a huge fan of Green Beret I ought to myself to buy this one.
Fantastic title. I had many years to be so much addicted to a video-game.
Clever, original, stylish, cute, and overrated.
Very addictive, and pretty hard. A must purchase from Playstation Store!
Need I say that I liked Jennifer Garner? As a game: not something special.
Richer than #3, but more complicated. And that's not good,at leat for me. #3 is the best hands down.
Very short. More like an expansion really.
Obviously I wasn't quite sure that I don't like manager games.
I loved the coverbox picture, more than the game itsself.
Very fun with this one.
Boring.
I played the PS2 version, and I got sick of it. An insult for the series and the platform. I guess I'll have to buy the PS3/X360 version in order to really play this game.
Why is it so much praised? Where is the fun with this game? I can't understand...
Very good. I've played only the first two missions.
Very good one. I just don't like particularly all this Tom Clancy's philosophy in games.
Thunder, thunder, THUNDERCATS!! I grew up with games like this.
That dragon seemed so cool these days, but the game itsself was rather poor.
I bought it as a collector's item some time around 2003, never actually played it.
Loading problems here too.
I hardly touched it.
My very first PC game. Many hours into this.
I liked it a lot. I have left it though unfinished. Does it mean something?
Do you expect me to play a game, in which the heroine is called "Salammbo"? Salammbo with double "m", not to be confused with Salambo.
Saboteur always seemed to me, as the soulmate of Solid Snake, a real pioneer in stealth action, but couldn't live long enough to see the modern era of video-games. Mainly because, unlike Snake, Saboteur wasn't injected with the nano-machines in his body. He was afraid of needles.
My first impression is really very good. I only didn't like the camera and the way the character moves in the screen, but I llike so much the style of "Agent 47". I think I'm going to love this.
One my favourite C64 games. Actually exactly the same as Saboteur 1, but I don't mind it, I liked a lot #1 anyway.
I loved it.
No more Halo clones please.
Loading problems kept me away from playing this one. I was so sad.
I was so psyched with Rastan!
An archetype for all the modern shooting action games.
Not so bad as they say.
Fantastic music.
I actually liked a lot the idea of a more "bad" Prince of Persia. Also it seems really conviencing, when you slaughter enemies, to actually look like a Mujahedin fanatic.
My involvement with F1 games began long before I even started to be interested in the sport.
I've played a lot with this.
I'm a gamer of the "Pac-Man generation".
I'm ashamed that I have Oink! in my collection. A schoolmate had given it to me. I only hope I didn't trade some good game of mine for this crap.
Too damn difficult. And boring!
Definately a B-movie.
It would had been a very good game, but the controls are totally wrong.
The community of the MMORPG players is somehow divided between World of Warcraft and Lineage fans. I vote for WOW.
I don't like these games after all..
An Arkanoid type of game, and in my opinion far more better than Arkanoid. I love it!
It's a game that either you love it, or hate it. I think 99 % of gamers, me included, hated it.
I have a total blank in my memory for this one. I guess someone infiltrates into something.
Very good one.
Probably the most famous between a big number of athletics games of that period. I don't know why they made so many of this kind of games. Maybe gamers and publishers were overwelmed from the grandeur of the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984. The tradition of olympic games inspired titles survives until our days with great success...eh, oh well.. Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008: all these promising titles have an average rating of 5/10.
Hopefully he didn't break any leg.
Good, especially because it's for free.
The best PSP game!
I prefer watching the movie.
My first serious horror game and one of my all times favourites.
Things got a little better here.
One of my favourites too.
Too frantic for my style.
Never did liked it as much as the first two games of the series, but quite good never the less.
My very first horror game. Not the best game, but I have good memories from it.
I didn't like it so much. Why do the monsters have to ressurect endlessly? Whose idea was that?
I was looking for "Amplitude", but finally I settled for this. Thankfully it didn't cost me much.
Although it wasn't well received by the critics, me as Silent Hill veteran, I enjoyed it a lot!
Never had the chance to play it, because the tape of this game couldn't load in the C64 cassette-player.
If those buffalo size spiders hadn't spoiled all the fun for me, it would had been my favourite survival horror game.
I spent hundrends of hours in this game.
Stunning game. One of the top PS1 releases.
It must had been revolutionary at its time. Too bad that I played Microsoft's Flight Simulator X first.
The best Resident Evil game ever.
Fun, but I got quickly bored of it.
It seems that T-virus infected Capcom programmers too.
An anime version of Resident Evil. Quite good actually.
As if the first Outbreak wasn't enough, they made a sequel!
Irritating as Christiano Ronaldo himself.
Very fun to play, but it isn't Resident Evil anymore.
My all times favourite Formula One game.
Masterpiece.
Very good title.
Metal Gear Solid with Raiden at the leading role... It's like a James Bond film with Leonardo di Caprio as a protagonist. (Still a great game anyway)
