My gaming backlog is currently looking like: 1) *Redacted pile of games research related to my current project* 2) Finish Borderlands 3 3) Finish Hyperspace Outlaw (Apparently I've barely scratched the surface on it!) 4) More Disco Elysium 5) More Control 6.....n) Try all of the games I'm getting sold on by everybody else's lists n+1) Give Outer Wilds another shot.
@CastroCasper: It was hard to explain on the fly, but it wasn't a specific comment from my past. More that back in the GameSpot days I often found myself saying "It's really hard to make [this type of game] well." Annnnd I just tried directing and producing that exact type of game and it was indeed very hard! So hard the project was canceled before we finished it. I had a lot of fun leading the team and learned a lot to carry forward into my next role, wherever that may be! Thanks for listening!
