When I first saw it I was smiling the entire time. Second time it was: "wait, how can Rey fly a ship so well?", "wait, Han was just passing by?", "wait, impossible light speed meneuvere solves every problem?"...also Harrison Ford got old and it made me sad.

Mostly the problem was after reading the EU the Galaxy felt big, but Star Wars VII just made it feel small...oh, another desert planet, ice planet, bad guy in a mask, hotshot wisecracking pilot, super weapon etc.

It felt too fan servicey, but without the 'risk' like Rogue One had (killing everyone). Still liked it though. Anything Star Wars makes the dopamine flow.

I honestly don't think he meant 'boy' to even imply racism. It doesn't mean the same thing in Ireland or around the world as it can mean in the US. Reminds me a bit of this:

Edit: Oh the "Dance for me boy"? I'm inclined to believe that was just something he said, it wasn't intended to even hint at racism. He's from Ireland. 'Boy' isn't a racial term there; just like it isn't where I'm from.
