I would say 50% - my friends and I really got into LOL: Wild Rift. It is a technical marvel that that thing plays as well as it does. MOBA fans should check it out.
The term "Gamer" is as useful or unuseful as any other big blanket label for an interest group - it condenses a lot of complexity and comes with a lot of baggage.
I used to be a lot more cautious about being seen to play video games in certain crowds. A lot of that had to with being thought of as a "gamer" and the stereotype bullshit that comes with that.
I'm 30 now and married so I give much less of a fuck what people think about my hobbies. I also feel like the industry has come a long way in the last 20 years so I'm much happier to be associated with games.
I'm good - will wait for the PS5 version as that should give them enough time to sort out some of the initial bullshit. Who knows if I'm still into it at that point.
I'm busy playing PS4 games I missed, turns out God of War is a pretty good game (especially with the PS5 enhancements)!
I currently have my PS4 set up in my office on a decent HD PC monitor. The PS5 will need to go into the living room as this is where the fancy TV is at. Will keep the PS4 up here - just saw stuff about Remote Play, that may come in handy if my wife wants to use the big TV.
My wife found a PS5 during the original UK release window from Argos. For my UK peeps, this website was pretty good during that initial window, info was always on point.
Very exciting! I've not tapped into AC since 2. I've got a PS5 on the way, so this might be my way back in! I know we won't get Spiderman level loads, as that was designed from the ground up to showcase them, but I'm currently rocking a non-pro PS4, so I'm sure that I'm in for a big difference.
Yes for me - Supergiant is really hitting a harmony with this one, all of the stuff they've done well in the past in one package. I love it because it is basically a run-based diablo (combat style) with really creative storytelling.
I have a launch PS4, have bought a brand new 4K Tv and don't necessarily want to build a PC. This will be a big leap for me and I'm looking forward to it.
Microsoft wouldn't push with this if they weren't confident with the price point. I'm a Sony boy, so Xbox is out of question for me but I'm happy that Microsoft has put some pressure on Sony to make it competitive. I'm hoping for sub 500 Discless because otherwise, I'll have to re-budget.
