GOTY 2016

Phew. Let's do this. This year is video games can simply be measured in its success directly corresponding to the awfulness that was the everything else about 2016. So fuck 2016 I'm cheating (more) with this years GOTY and doubling up games & going beyond 10 & talking about games I HAVEN'T even played cause IDGAF:
I want to write more about each game in the list boxes but IDK if I will get around to it so.......

1. Overwatch & Titanfall 2 (MP)

I had the most fun with multiplayer FPSes this year. WTF.

2. Rhythm Heaven Megamix

This game just makes me smile. It's wonderful

3. Titanfall 2 (SP) & DOOM (SP)

Two incredible FPS campaigns. In SO many ways.

4. SUPER HOT & Devil Daggers

Two MORE incredible FPS games. In SO many different ways!

5. Ratchet & Clank

I wasn't even a huge fan of the series but this game is TIGHT.

6. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

I enjoyed part 2 a lot & I look forward to part 3.

7. Hyper Light Drifter & Owlboy

'Indie' games are just amazing. I got lost in these worlds.

8. Thumper & Rez Infinite

Incredible 'rhythm' games.

9. Star Fox Zero

I like it. I like it a lot. I even like the controls.

10. The King of Fighters XIV Street Fighter V & Guilty Gear Xrd -Revelator-

Fighting games that mostly deserve better.

11. Pokemon & Final Fantasy XV

Games I haven't put enough time into but are VERY good.

12. Let It Die

I can't stop playing this. I have like 30hrs in but I don't feel like I've seen even MOST of it. It's F2P but hasn't been begging or do I feel like I'm seeing the paywall even after all this time. It's got STYYYYYLE and I just enjoy playing it!!

13. The Last Guardian & Dishonored 2 & Hitman & Fire Emblem Fates & Mafia 3 & Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

Video Games I have not played but I bet are REAL good and I hope to play them in the 2017 year.
