@frytup: Listen to their episode zero podcast. They provide a little hint of what is to come. They are using those sites right now but may not in the future. It sounds like they are treating the current phrase as the beginning of a larger project over time. They will be teaming up with Waypoint to cover E3. They aren’t leaving games media, from the sounds of it.
This is so exciting. Instantly subscribed to the Patreon. What a beautiful world where we can watch and listen to all our favorite Giant Bomb folks, both current and former, on the intewebs.
I started following Giant Bomb circa 2008 and they have been a weekly part of my life ever since. This is really sad news to hear, but I wish Brad, Vinny, and Alex nothing but the best. I just hope we still get to see them from time to time In culture going forward.
I can confirm that this is still an issue when the video settings are set to HD on the Apple TV app. The videos freeze right away but the audio is fine.
I noticed that the Giant Bomb Apple TV app was updated and it looks great, but the live feed hasn’t been working. When I click on the live option, I get the endless pinwheel of death. I’ve tried restarting the Apple TV but the app still doesn’t work for the live feed.
I just noticed that the Apple TV app updated. I just started it up to watch the Bombcast live stream but to no avail. Instead of loading into the live video, I get the spinning pinwheel of death.
