My word, what a day so far. Communication without home internet and phone credit is a nightmare.

i had great fun with the game every time i had the chance, but those last few months there were long as can be waiting times for matches. Partly due to the game being in four different places (if you count xbox1)

the player base too thin and few talking about it online the end was inevitable. so im not shocked but I am very saddened. It does make me wonder about what happens to all the design docs, assets and stuff for online only games like this. The world building and characters of the game are wonderful, enhanced by a brilliant art style. It would be a massive shame it that's all lost forever. Same for games like paragon.

Hi guys. I've been looking to play with others. I dont have a mic, but will fit myself into any role needed normally. I play zarya, phara, zenyatta mostly but I've started mixing in some tracer, Torbjorn, and widowmaker. and i'll dabble in other characters and classes where needed.

Hit me with a friend request on live if interested. Seiibutsu - im on uk time, free all days monday and tuesday normally but most nights after work any other day.

I agree with most of what has been said on here already, but have a couple additional thoughts.

-Have safe zones

-Don't spam enemies

-Be aware of screen space and where the player can move. (Hitting your head on ceiling while jumping gaps can be annoying for example)

-Nothing is sacred. Don't be afraid to to delete entire parts of a level that don't work or people are having fun with.

-Try to focus on one, maybe two concepts and see how far you can stretch them. I know people are frustrated by the fact the game releases only a few items at a time, but I took this upon myself to force myself to work with less and it forced me to think more about how I would make each element fun and interesting. So even if you have unlocked everything, maybe try this approach and pick something in the editor you like and try to fully explore it.

I deliberately put in a couple of places where you have to hit your head to make some jumps. These levels ere intended to be about pure jump-man / mario skill though, so test the players knowledge of everything base mario can do.

So I just had a strange dream, well bundle of dreams, that at one point featured a member of the GB team.

For some unknown reason me and Dan Ryckert we're in a seaside coastal town and apparently we had a baby in tow. well a very young toddler. Anyway, it's parent didn't turn up to collect it and dan started to panic about it being upset and more importantly needing a nappy/diaper change, so it was left to me. It ended with me, dan and the baby in some sort of wierd realistic car game, but where the player cars were based on nintendo characters. Dan getting super excited about a car he had bet on going really fast by a busy junction while we hung out at the fun fair.

We all watch so much content from GB, i find myself wondering how many of you also have the guys sneak into our dreams at night and what the weirdest dream you had was?

The Sims, even if people act like psycho characters.

im not sure the sims quite counts. sims can die. but 1. you dont play as a sim, more a all powerful influence on the world around them. 2. they aren't really characters in any kind of coherent narrative or path. Another reason those simulator games dont really count.
