Great video and a fantastic game! Really impressive to see him just mow through these bosses while chatting.

This game seems pretty cool. The combat system has a lot of neat ideas.

I remember watching this one in theaters and that stinger at the end was so good.

Also this (I went and checked and Matt was barely higher lvl than them so you know it was his pure skill that carried them).

I believe Mass was the sniper last time and he did a good job sniping, whereas I think Jason here had a lot more trouble so he ended up switching to a lancer after a while.

I know they wanted to finish but I think they messed up by starting over from Wave 50. Losing all your fortifications and starting over with a level 1 fabricator is really rough.

Also they could have really used some more manned turrets/sentries. Having played a fair amount of Horde 3.0, you really need multiple turrets and sentries or else you're gonna get overwhelmed like they did.

Now I like using the turrets so it doesn't bother me as much but I do think it would have been nice if the game was better balanced so they didn't feel so necessary (I imagine the cards make balancing this mode a lot more difficult than previous games).

Nah it definitely looks different to me as well.

Looks like Brad will be happy since the developers confirmed on the ign livestream that this is a sequel and NOT a reboot or re-imagining, hence why they used the frankisback hashtag.

The last time people said it was the best Mario Party was Mario Party 3 and we all know how that turned out....They should probably just stick with the default map from here on out (too easy for Dan to be confused by map suggestions).

It's a goddamn shame what's happened to Lionhead. I mean on the one hand, I can see why they would want to cancel the game. It's been in development for almost 4 years, with it being in beta for over 1.5 years. It's also a F2P game that would need a lot of support post release so if you aren't feeling confident about it's long term viability then yeah it's probably better to cut your losses now.

However, that doesn't change the fact that Microsoft has poorly manged Lionhead these last 5 or 6 years. All these different spin offs that nobody wanted and now this last project has finally done them in. I mean maybe the Fable franchise could be revived one day by another developer but it still wouldn't be the same and it's a damn shame that Lionhead never got to make another big RPG.

I hope all those affected are able to get back on their feet soon.

This is a great new feature. Awesome job guys! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more.
