I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to. All the save to hard drive feature is doing is ripping the entire disc to the hard drive so I would expect that it could do that with Xbox games too.
Gears of War just didn't do it for me. Sure it looks great and the shooting mechanics work well, but I just don't like them. Plus, the characters are worthless. I guess that's the biggest problem for me. I don't find Marcus Fenix's tough guy attitude appealing at all. I'd be much happier with a game that actually has good characters and story. Also, the third person view is less than ideal for me. I don't feel entirely connected to what I am doing in the game. I can see why people would enjoy Gears, but it just is not for me at all. And yet I keep it in my collection...
Either way, I'm probably going to skip on the sequel.
This is one of the best gaming deals of the rest of this year. I mean seriously? $40 for a pretty awesome looking game with the classic included for nothing more than the need to go to GameStop and pre-order? I'll take that any day. Plus, I never owned a N64, but I played Banjor at my friend's house and boy did I love it. Now I can own it on my 360. Sweet.
