What are you wearing right now? hmm? Take any piece of clothing where was it made. How was it made? What kind of conditions did the people making it have to work/live in? Everyone's so ready to have an opinion and ready to take to task anyone with a more damaged opinion than themselves. Are you somewhat better than Dan because you know Walmart's practices are pretty shit but most likely are still wearing clothes made in Asia or South America? Even if you don't buy them at Walmart? Or is it that you have to review every shitty opinion? Every dumb thing that falls out of Dan's mouth. Every unpopular opinion he has. I mean i know he's not America. We know, sorry i meant we know.
And does talking about it here for sooooooooooo long make a change to the issue. The real issue. smh. Have something real to say or just relax. I mean it. Really relax.

We shouldn't ascribe so much value to lists like these. The truly subjective nature of the video game experience should not illicit a response such as "disappointment" or "sadness" that X game did not make it on the list. As we have all been playing games for sometime, we should all understand that each and every person's interaction with a game will be vary (sometimes greatly) and that is totally okay. Thousands disliking X game does not invalidate your enjoyment of such and taking the time to be critical about other's opinions on X game should not turn into a match of words...no one needs to win. We really don't all need to be right.
And we don't all need to be critics Especially when were being critical of an opinion, of something, that ultimately does not matter. The GiantBomb crew have said for years, and again this year, that there is no true value in comparing one's game's merits against another to produce an ordered list. Though there is much fun to be had in those discussions and I'm sure they love doing these things every year. Judging the quality of arguments made by the crew or by other members of the community over whose game is the best should not be the purpose of consuming these game of the year deliberations, because it does not matter.
Your enjoyment of a game will always be your enjoyment. If you can find a way to express such enjoyment that will get a fellow gamer interested in X game, great. If someone meets your opinion and says I do not agree, that's fine. That's all it ever should be.
