I've been playing Mount and Blade: Warband since its release in 2010. In total, I put in just under 2,000 hours into its single-player and multiplayer.
For me, the single-player campaign has always and remains to be one of the most satisfying games to level up from a simple peasant to a malevolent King(Or Queen). Of course, the vanilla game just offers a taste of what the incredible modding community has achieved through mods that allow in-depth diplomacy, full conversion mods of the GoT universe. The combat, although it looks outdated now, still feels very skill-based and rewarding when slaying an opponent, especially in the multiplayer siege battles.
Anyway I am still playing this game on my off-time as I impatiently await for Mount and Blade: Bannerlord.
Fuck, this is a real bummer and I hope he went easy without suffering. Low End Theory is one of those albums that you could listen to at any time and just lay back and groove to. Fuckin brought the dead back to life man.
I hardly ever post on the site but I am a longtime listener of the bombcast. I just wanted to say thank you Ryan for all the great moments you provided on the site to the community. I especially would re-watch quicklooks for hours upon end just to fall asleep happy. I hope the rest of the staff is staying strong through these dark times, but I know the community will always be right there with them with support.
