Oh god I hope Narancia and Mista can do the dance at each other during battle.

@jacksukeru:

King Crimson is the only thing cool about Diavolo. He's extra lame because he's sandwiched between the amazing Yoshikage and the interesting Pucci.

Yeah it was a real shame he was sick. I knew something was off when he came out and his voice was really wobbly, and the merch lady confirmed it on our way out (I bought Violent Waves).

Still think Juturna is my favorite album of theirs. I still have the poster from pre-ordering it all those years back.

Anthony's Saosin was great, his replacement was an ok imitation but nothing really matches Anthony.

Favorite Saosin song

Saw Circa Survive back in March with Now, Now and Minus The Bear. N,N and MTB were fantastic but Anthony was sick and thus CS was (understandably) not great. No energy. Was a shame because they were the reason I went in the first place, since Anthony is one of my favorite vocalists. Took my friend with my because it was around his birthday, he came away loving N,N and MTB but he thought CS was terrible.

Chiodos is pretty ok.

It's really obvious that the author of Attack on Titan has carefully plotted the series out when a major reveal from a few chapters ago makes it worth reading the manga again/watching the anime because it completely changes the context of a large number of scenes and dialogues even all the way back at the beginning.

Okay, nerds. I need some suggestions. I'm really digging what Attack on Titan is doing but it's still got a bunch of teenage dipshits running around as the main cast.

Can someone suggest me a something that features an adults doing cool stuff?

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (2012). The person who does series composition for AoT also did JoJo. It features absurd manly man punching absurd vampires. It's one of the most influential shounen series, but the story it is adapting is from the 80's (JoJo is still running today, 26 years later). Plus the second arc's protagonist (starting at episode 10) is one of the best goddamn protagonists in anime/manga.

@believer258: Yeah, Durarara is a slow burn.

Isn't a lot of anime like that? At least that's been my experience.

That has also been my experience. I find that when it's the opposite the show winds up not being so great, as in the case of Outlaw Star. An excellent first four episodes and then it spirals down into a broke bounty hunter Cowboy-Bebop-with-magic wannabe. Still not bad, just nowhere near as good as it could have been.

But OS is older than Bebop. The manga by two years and the anime by 4-ish months. It's also awesome. Or at least that's how I remember it. I haven't seen it in...when did it first air on TV in the US? 2001 it seems. Ugh. I feel old.

Something idiot "internet libertarians" and moronic Ayn Rand fanboys use to try to scam each other.

I usually only read the discussion threads on MAL for Hunter x Hunter and JoJo, which have been pretty ok, but after reading the episode threads for Titan there...is that place really full of complete fucking assholes? It's almost overwhelming. Between the people who are so desperate to spoil the manga, to the ones who are so desperate to prove how much smarter they are than some Japanese cartoon (there are a LOT of these types), I've never read something so infuriating.

And I'll apparently continue to do so until I evolve into a being that consists of pure rage.

@gtcknight:

I suspect some of the coming events are gonna be real divisive among the anime watchers.
