It's been a long time since I have used the site for anything other then content absorption (I love the GiantBomb crew and everything they do) and since we are nearing the end of the year I figured why not write about my experiences with gaming.

The first thing I will do is talk a little bit about my year. in gaming so far.

Games completed in 2016

- Life is Strange

- Borderlands 2 (took me almost 4 years to finally beat it, currently on UVHM)

Games currently playing (as of 9/10/2016)

- Final Fantasy Record Keeper

- World of Warcraft Legion

- Final Fantasy XIV

- Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons

- Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (Replaying it via The Uncharted Collection)

- God of War Ascension

- Pokemon X (just getting my Legendaries)

Games I want to finish at some point

- Persona 3/FES

- Persona 4/Golden

- Fallout 4

- Mass Effect 3

I think that just about covers my current state of gaming. I have a stupidly large backlog of video games that i never got to play because I became a League of Legends addict, but after dropping that game almost a year ago I've made a small dent on my backlog.

So I got around to it and I finally ordered the FightStick I’ll be getting the standard edition and I’m pumped because I want to get my hands on it ASAP.

I’ve still been playing Street Fighter 4 and I am now 93% dedicated to Gouken. I’m learning when and how to use his moves and its been a bit frustrating against some players but extremely fun against others.

IE: I just simply get upset when I run into Cammy, E.Honda, Balrog(Boxer), Bison(dictator), and Zangiefe players knowing that its going to be a really tough match. But I feel really confident against Shoto players and just about anyone else.

Anyways my Fightstick is on its way can’t wait too get it

I finally decided to play some ranked matches and I had a blast. I was success full in winning my first 2 matches with Ken.

My first match was against a 2k+ Sagat: This was really close but I played a  very patient Ken and poked him every time he left an opening. He made a few mistakes and were punished by a full ultra every time that he jumped in.

Second match was a bit easier but still challenging against another fellow Ken player. Again I played a very patient Ken and success I won.

I kept going but failed in the attempt to get the "The Line Starts Here" Trophy so I moved on to player matches.

I also got the "Lobbyist" trophy so that was kinda cool.
