You know you want to: Giant Bomb Theme Song

Been on the site since 2008. Working in the games industry since 2003, Giant Bomb has been my daily source for news, discussion and entertainment surrounding my livelyhood for well over a decade. Subscriber since that first Big Live Live Show Live.

Listening to the crew talk about "EA spouse" months after I had left that company was cathartic. Hearing them talk about games I had worked on was a strange thrill. They have kept me up to date on the goings on of this industry even as I have less and less time to play games myself due to my family commitments.

So many great moments. Thursday Night Throwdowns, E3 interviews, how excited I was when they brought Austin on board. Listening to Scoops and the Wolf Bombin' in the AM. I'll treasure all the memories.

Thanks so much to Vinny, Brad and Alex, and all the others who helped out along the way.

Theme Hospital was a really solid game, and stands up surprisingly well (I played several levels a couple of weeks ago).

I think what @splodge is suggesting (a modern day remake) would be a very different game tonally - a large part of Theme Hospital's charm is that it doesn't take itself at all seriously - but it could still make for an interesting game concept.

I couldn't stop laughing the first time I watched that Flight Club.

Luckily, they weren't gamebreaking bugs, so I just let them slide in the rush to make something complete before the deadline.

Welcome to game development :D

UNDERPANTS!

Base Jumpers - really, really dumb... but damn hilarious. Also, what a concept for a platformer: breaking and entering followed by suicidally dangerous base jumping.

I'm having a lot of fun with this game. The permadeath is one of the aspects that I find myself enjoying; it makes for a much more tense experience.

Karen called on me (playing Maya) to help kill a juggernaut. I'd never fought one of these before. Unfortunately, a horde stumbled into us just after we engaged it, including a screamer.

Karen went down in about five seconds... And I didn't even have time to run away, so the zeds got a double kill. Doh!
