Can we outlaw the term "dumbed down" Holy bananas they wanna make a CS game that might not be like 1.6 AND on something other than a PC?! OMG NO!!!1111one. Some fan of Valve you are if you're gonna shit on their game before even a single screen shot or video is released....ok anger is over- I'm excited for this!

Just a dumb idea, but coming from EA...not surprising in the slightest. I haven't bought a sports game from these guys in almost a decade and my wallet is quite happy with that.

No one was forced to buy the thing when it first came out so there is no reason for people who are loose with their money to complain. Their lineup was all about the "future releases" being amazing and not so much the launch titles (not that many systems have great launch games). Nintendo is a business and the only reason to be in business is to make money; if they feel the price drop is needed then so be it.

I don't know if they released the system too soon or development for the games Nintendo fans really wanted is taking too long but I can't be the only one who thought paying 250$ to play Ocarina was an awful idea. Just my opinion I didn't buy one so I can't say if the deal for early buyers is "fair" (But I will use the term very loosely)

That's really too bad; Capcom hasn't been looking good for a while now and this isn't going to help. Rude comments to the fans, given by someone low in the company or not, give a representation of how Capcom feels about their customers. Do the people running these companies social media pages not understand that? I can't say I've been following the development of this game much, but I do love the Mega Man series and have for years...it's just too bad its looking like the franchise is all but over

X was really the last time I could latch onto the series... X-2 completely killed my interest for another FF game and judging from peoples reactions to the more recent games I can't be the only one. I think the main issue is that there are so many Final Fantasy games (including the main series, spin offs, and other random games) that the franchise means nothing at this point. They have gone in every direction (rhythm now??) and whatever game they make will have people saying its too much like the old games so its changed and now its not enough like the old games. I think the glory days of FF are long gone but that's all just my opinion

When was the last time Square meant something? I'd say 2001 but hey I'm still waiting for a Xenogears remake that will never happen. I give them credit though..few companies could milk a franchise the way they have with Final Fantasy

If the first thing you think of when you look at this trailer is wow that looks like borderlands...you might wanna find a different hobby. Cel shading is not new so anyway...loved the first game and can't wait for this.

Nice. ZOE 1 with the MGS2 demo was the first ps2 game I bought; it will be nice to play all of these on my 360....maybe a ZOE3 in the works?

Lets be honest...when was the last year Square mattered? What happened to games like Einhander, Xenogears, and I guess you could call them "classic FF" games? This company has been developing in a vacuum for a decade now. Any goodwill they got for XI is and should be gone. I don't mean to rant but these guys really did make great games back in the day..I dunno best of luck to you Square but Im not gonna hold my breath on any project they have in mind

I think they brought it up on the bombcast but games are just too expensive to make to risk on unproven hardware. Its a hard sell to ask a 3rd party to drop several million dollars and a huge team on a project; granted someone eventually has to take a stab at it. The current generation launches were awful and I'm sure the next ones will be just as bad. The fact is Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo or 3rd parties don't even have to make good games at launch. They know even if they release garbage in the beginning people will still buy it; they just need to build up hype for the device.
