I can't speak for others but I find entering the achievement app better than the 360. I may be in the minority there but all you have to do is hold a button and it takes you to the achievement you just received. At that point you can select to view more achievements or you can select to go back to play the game. It's pretty straight forward and what I like is that some games include awesome artwork for different achievements. That being said, the achievement update that Xbox is releasing look pretty awesome.

They need to cut their losses and concentrate on the handheld. I have a 3ds xl and its amazing. They lost the console war a long time ago.

Definitely worth it (specially when they have the $35 sale). Most of the best content is free.
