I'm not too active in the community stuff here, and I turned off auto renew on my account, but if this site keeps up the stuff that was talked about on the Bombcast, that's worth 50 bucks a year for ad-free podcasts if nothing else.
I had a lot of fun the first time I played through Shattered Memories, but the old Let's Play of it Voidburger did back in the day was amazing. Definitely a "play the game once and take the ending you get" kind of game, not one you 100%.
As a huge Kojima fan, I respect Jeff's general dislike of his work. However, Giant Bomb's general dislike of the game just destroyed any shred of respect I had for Dan Ryckert.
My guess for Death Stranding 2 will be the same basic gameplay loop, but now on the moon. Just let me build infrastructure in a game and I'm happy.
Now I'm really hoping for a F&40s for Silent Hill Revelation after they play Silent Hill 2&3 because that movie is absolutely bad and bonkers in ways I don't want to spoil.
This is the fourth Jojo podcast I've listened to, but I still absolutely loved the first episode. I hope they keep going after Battle Tendency, parts 3 & 4 especially feel like they influenced a ton of stuff in video games.
At the risk of being a huge mark, I immediately bought the Castlevania Collection and the remake of Actraiser. Those are all games I will happily buy over and over.
Also I watched Lets Play videos constantly in the late 2000s/early 2010s and hope Voidburger becomes a regular on GB. Hoping I get to watch Jan play Undertale in the future, I think he'd really like it.
