I don't think its exclusively that way. There certainly are some great characters who are flawed and messed up. Hell, lets just look at the pulp genre: Conan the Barbarian and The Shadow are "heroic characters" who frequently do good things but they are generally terrible people but that contrast makes them interesting. If these characters were totally, irredeemably bad with no real character arc or nuance then they would be crap. I would point to Artemis Entreri or Jarlaxle from the RA Salvatore Forgotten Realms books. Both are character were bad guys but ended up becoming protagonists at a certain point and not just because they became fan favorites but because they were interesting, nuanced, and had more to offer.
You thin that's bad, you should try playing it on a launch PS4 :D I get the heat AND the jet engine noise. I can tell when a game is really pushing the system because of what point of take off the system is at.
I completely cut out sodas and cut WAY back on sugar at the beginning of January. Also put off getting my back looked at for years (severe, literally crippling pain sometimes) and went to a chiropractor and I literally feel amazing now. Lost almost 30 lbs just walking 8,000-10,000 steps a day and drinking only water. I'm going to start going to the gym during my lunch breaks too so hopefully I can stay pretty consistent with it.
I really enjoy it but I definitely do not prefer it to Evil Dead 2. While they cannot legally acknowledge the events of Army of Darkness, which is a huge plot hole because of the end of Evil Dead 2, its basically just the tone of Army of Darkness. That's why I can't say I like it more than Army of Darkness because its just a raunchier version of Army of Darkness.
I really see no reason to transfer my character to PC. The game is still the same game just a little prettier and 60 fps...so no, not enough for me to care about.
Personally I've found the comp to be severely degraded by about season 4 lol. That said most of my friends play on PS4. I own both the PS4 and PC versions but I put 3-4x the time into the Ps4 version and I find the quality of players to be SEVERELY lacking on the consoles. Even when I lose on PC I can still have a good time. No so on console.
Everyone's different and stuff but I really had no trouble in that boss fight. The boss telegraphs his movement a bunch and there are also like a dozen health pickups in the game. Just lower the difficulty if the combat is really that troubling.
As much as I LOVE the God of War series I've always been annoyed that Kratos is a god but get knocked out of combos and moves by peon enemies but you (previously) could never do the same. At least know you can interrupt enemy combos. I do think the combat can be cheap, sometimes, but generally it is just a matter of crowd control and keeping your gear upgraded. I got some legendary gear a while ago from one of the realms you open up and I doubt I'll be finding anything better anytime soon.
That said you did just say you were on the hardest difficulty so I'm not sure what you were expecting :p
Yes, Destiny 2 is totally worth $12. I crap on Bungie (modern Bungie) and the Destiny series all the time but paying $20> is a great price. Much like with The Division I think the story content of Level "0" to level cap is perfectly fine but its the "game" after that where it breaks down into drivel. I would be far nicer to the series if the multiplayer was worth anything but, sadly, it is not.
Hellblade is a great mix of traditional Norse stuff along with the new. God of War is good in a different way as it sort of reimagines things in a God of War lense.
