I'm still enjoying BF4...there's 0 reason for me to get a smaller version of BF4. By the time Hardline is out I will be too busy with other games and probably still BF4 online. If anything, Call of Duty looks more interesting.
Unpopular opinion, after listening to the Giantbomb recap podcast on the way home from Sony's presser: almost all the duders are jaded buttholes who even found it in them to shit on No Man's Sky. Also, complain about one segment on Sony TV programming but defended it when Microsoft did it. Then have the gall to claim Microsoft had a better showing when it was most CG trailers. OK guys, good game. If this is what I can look forward to for the rest of E3 coverage, even after show, why am I tuning in? The levels of almost Gawker branded snark and cynicism this year is getting old...already.
So after listening to the newest Powerbombcast we learned something: Dan Ryckert has a new job (not just a new position like I was assuming...I don't follow him on Twitter) and its bringing him to San Francisco. His new job starts in about a month and is still in the gaming press. Now, there are possibilities: He's working for Polygon OR...he's working for Giantbomb as the new editor. Jeff mentioned recently that they have a new editor hired and he starts in about a month, so...what do you guys think?
Tonally, he fits in with the other guys. He already has been on every episode of the powerbombcast and more. I think this is a strong possibility, but didn't know if anyone else was kicking this theory around and if so what you think.
So apparently the guy didn't watch Godzilla but the story is original and they did create two new monsters for the film.
Also, all stories are made from the same elements. There is nothing new under the sun. Nothing is ever truly original anymore but an interesting amalgamation of existing ideas, concepts, and character traits.
I have a feeling that hacking other people gets you point, or causing someone to crash though I don't know. I haven't been able to get into an online race yet :|
Even though I find Watch Dogs (WD) to be a less than good game I am still going to put the time into it to platinum it. Why you ask? Well, because I've already gotten most of the trophies completed just by dicking around in the game so why not...plus there's nothing else out until at least August for me, so why not. However, I still haven't been able to connect to most online modes. I've done profiling and hacking but the others never find a game for me...they just sit there on the "Trying to Find a Game" graphic. I have yet to make it into an online race or data encryption mode.
I think Jeff's comment was more about multiplayer games and not something in regards to single player or difficulty leanings. Example, in Battlefield 4 if people playing Assault actually bothered to revive people...they are playing their class. If Snipers are up in people's grills, they are not playing their class. Basically, if you aren't worried about teamwork in a team based game then you need to go and play something else and stop ruining it for other people. I don't think skill or accessibility has anything to do with it.
