@crithon: I didn't get a daily dose of extreme hyperbole yesterday, so thanks for making sure I at least got some today.

I would agree that I think indie developers are too obsessed with "retro" games that really aren't retro at all. Maybe its just easier to do that art style or something but at this point I am largely avoiding "retro" looking titles.

I also couldn't give two puppies if someone dislikes modern military shooters. I love Battlefield and play them for the multiplayer. I have been let down by more indie games in the last five years than I have any of the AAA games I've purchased for PC or consoles.

So far I have really enjoyed it. I was in the Kickstarter but I avoided playing early releases, betas, and alphas for the game so I'm not sure what has drastically changed.

Technically I think this is just the last Crow movie opposed to the new Crow movie. They are working on making a new film that's not direct to DVD.

Honestly, I want a game that is more than just "Star Wars: Uncharted" and everything about this game made it look like that is what it was going to be. Since it was an in-house game at Lucasarts I feel safe to say it would probably have been barely OK at best. Forced Unleashed 1 was buggy and boring...and don't get me started on Forced Unleashed 2. 1313 was apparently such a mess that they made it a Boba Fett vehicle and then they cancelled it themselves before even the Disney deal. I wouldn't mind a Boba Fett game that was good but 1313 was probably not that.

Before I even booted up the system for the first time I installed a 1TB hybrid. I don't need all that space immediately but when I do I don't want to worry about transferring any data of any kind.

Everything with the UI works perfectly fine for me. There are tweaks for the UI that I would like but I have been impressed how well the system have worked for being a launch system. I don't feel like I wasted my money.

Me and my avatar have no problems with judging people or judging them to iso-cubes.

I played both Demons Souls and Dark Souls and I think both games are fantastic. However, both games still have terrible menus, frame rates, and I would enjoy just a tad more direct lore without me having to go to a wiki or some butthead's youtube video.

Also, not to take away from the post but I think this exact same demo was shown like a month or two ago as I remember everything about this. I don't this this is showing anything new off.

The neon powers being reskins of the smoke makes sense to me because of what his power set is. I bet the special moves part of the different powers will be what is different.
