Right now I haven't really listened to a Bombast in at least 5 months. For the first time I am 99% sure I am cancelling my sub...s...

I have noticed a change, but it has been mixed for me. The only thing I didn't care for the massive upswing in DOTA content on both the Bombcast (where for a while it felt as if it was forced to be in every podcast for some given amount of time) and then the video content on the site. Ryan's passing definitely hit the site hard but hopefully they can maybe hire one more person so we can get some more regular video content going. I wouldn't say I am unhappy with the website but I will say I have noticed a change and its been on my mind. Right now my yearly membership is set to run out in 3-4 days and there is no big live show to promote subscriptions and no sales or promotions for it either...so it makes me wonder why with CBSi and advertisements on the podcast there needs to be a membership at all. I don't know. I will probably still reup my membership but it doesn't feel as if it is necessary for the site to have them anymore. Just my two cents.

Grinding seems to be an inherent part of Japanese RPGs and MMORPGs (both western and eastern). I think, mostly, that grinding is an apparent sign that the developers are artificially padding their game out and they have no real gameplay of value for that time frame.

1. Right now SteamOS only has gamers in mind; its crazy to think that businesses and homes will be switching to SteamOS in droves without no real proof or reason other than "STEAM!"

2. There are already perfectly fine and easy ways to play PC on your television without streaming or a set top box. A set top box on its own is antithetical to PC gaming and the moddable/upgradeable nature of the beast. If the box is made to be upgraded then its in the same boat as a desktop for the mainstream PC audience: aka, they don't want to do it.

3. Anyone who thinks SteamOS is a threat to console gaming already has a slant towards PC gaming and needs to take a breath and be logical.

Honestly, I normally think those people are assholes who buy a system at launch and then sell it for like a thousand bucks. They have the right to do it and no one should stop them but they are assholes none the less. I hated selling to those people when I worked at Gamestop around the time of the system launches. UPS and Fed-Ex drivers are some of the worst. Some of them will try and con you into selling them multiple ones.

I wouldn't say that's crazy, but I personally don't see the point in owning something that you could get later...especially if you aren't going to be buying any games for the system this year. There's plenty for me to buy on the system. I personally think it is a waste of money to own the system just for the sake of owning, at least right now it is. I suppose you will at leave have the PS+ version of Driveclub, if you actually buy into PS+.

Personally I will be getting BF4, Watchdogs, and Killzone at launch. I might get Call of Duty but I am not sure yet. By the end of the year I will also get AC4.

Considering Giant Bomb was created FOR the wiki, I seriously doubt you will ever see that happen. As @audiobusting pointed out, the forums and postings are more broken than anything in the wiki. With people like Alexis being employees of CBS now and not Giant Bomb they have to be pulled off to wherever they are told. That sucks, and I have a feeling that might have been a small reason Dave left, but hopefully it gets worked out. I am still leery about Giant Bomb being part of CBS. My yearly membership is set to expire here in a few days (in time with the anniversary) and I am really debating about whether to reup or not. I love the exclusive content but we are getting a lot less than we used to so...I don't know.

I don't really have a reason to do this. I suppose if you had a lack of HDMI ports on the back of your TV but at that point just invest in a decent HDMI splitter or box.

Any excuse to go back and watch all those game of the year videos is good by me. Also, shit...Ryan in that video still cracks me up.

I can't think of a list right now, but Grand Theft Auto 4 legitimately made me laugh several times so far. Definitely the best written game they have made so far and the voice actors carry it even farther.

I will get one a few months after they are released, but I'll definitely wait until one is $100 here stateside. This means I can take the extra PS3 out of the bedroom and just sell one. Also considering selling my 360 and getting something out of it as I will play Titanfall on PC. I can wait for it to be released here first though. Also, they might bundle it with free PS+ months or something.
