2008: Persona 4 (Saints Row 2 and Fallout 3 would be my runners up.)
2009: Batman: Arkham Asylum
Computer: Skyrim. Xbox 360: Mass Effect 2. PSP: Persona 3 Portable. 3DS: Pushmo.

Bastion, Shatter, Super Meat Boy, Sword & Sworcery EP.
Persona 4, Persona 3, Final Fantasy IX and Wind Waker.

Labrys, Teddie and Aigis are the three characters that I enjoyed their stories the most.
Labrys for character development. Teddie for humour. Aigis for relevant set-up.
Elizabeth is also worth mentioning mostly because it's a short and almost separate story.
