Here's a Persona 4 fanart i did recently.  I always feel compelled to draw something i'm really into. It's been a habit since i was five, so i guess some things never change :P I was also almost tempted to draw Vinny and Jeff somewhere in the background XD.

Well, the demo is out, and i think it's great. I thought i'd write up some stuff people may find helpful concerning the Naruto: UNS demo. Note:  I've never played any previous Naruto Ultimate games, so the stuff you read may be common knowledge for veterans of those games.

Random Nuggets of Knowledge

Here's some stuff people may not know (well I didn't know at first...only after several matches)

- People may think you double tap the jump and press a direction to do a side jump/dodge move, but you double tap jump and HOLD the second tap. While it's held, move the analogue stick in any direction to do some flips etc.

- Pretty obvious, but i'll say it anyway: press block just before someone hits you to do a substitution. You can do it while in mid air or on the ground.

- Hold down O to do hard punch (duh, right?)

- Press the direction facing the opponent on the analogue  stick and O a the same time. Naruto does a shadow clone barrage and Kakashi summons his dogs.

The rest of the moves can be found on the loading screen and command list.

Btw, a cool tip: After doing a combo while pressing UP on the analogue (which sends the person flying in the air), double tap X to do a kinda "pursuit" jump, and you can continue the assault in mid-air...it sounds obvious when you read it, but it may not seem like it when you play.

Items

When it comes to explosives, the AI (and probably a real person) usually keep their distance. You'll be lucky if they come running into one, like the explosive notes. It's best if you throw them directly at them while in the game, rather than left out in the open to be wasted.

The AI is pretty stupid when it comes to kunai. For those little exploding kunai parachute thingys ( i don't know what they're called :-P), the AI will usually just stand there and take the hit. But if you want to make sure they hit, throw it behind them and then occupy them with some combos so they'll be too distracted to block the kunai when the "parachute" explodes. I remeber once the AI threw some of his regular kunai, and at the same time one of those kunai parachute thingys behind me. Thinking it was just kunai that missed me, i just stood there at let the kunai take me from behind. For a second, i thought he "curved" the kunai that missed me to get me from behind...That tactic may work on an AI, but only cos they almost never dodge anyway. It probably won't work on a hard setting since AI can't exactly be fooled, but it's a good tip when playing a real person.

Btw, it may all sound a little complex the way i've written it, but it's not. Just pummel the guy however way you want. I almost never use items anyway, but it's good to use if you are in a tight situation and you want some distance between you and your opponent.

Ultimate Ninja Storm ANBU Primer

Here's a pretty cool youtube vid where they go into real depth about the combat in the demo. It's suprising how much stuff you can do.

It all feels great. There are some rough edges to be smoothed out, but other than that it's awesome-sauce.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Review (PS3)
Let’s just get this out of the way first. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm (NUNS) is a beautiful looking game. The cel-shaded graphics combined with the superb animation just blows the mind and at times looks even better the show. But rather than talk endlessly about how awesome it all looks ...

Pretty good. (PS3)
Instead of a proper review, i'll just list pros, cons, and then my final thoughts. Pros-Enjoyable, fast fighting-Characters are pretty diverse-Great cell-shaded graphics and animation-Some excellent cutscenesCons-Some of the cutscenes in story mode are recycled-Alot of content from anime is missing in the game (E.g: characters, costumes, and especially cutscenes)-The ...
