@baronsamedi: yeah, I understand why they did it, really small nitpick. I did see the snake ones too and I do like that Russian sneaking suit. Can't wait for people to complain about horse armor too.
Paid dlc costumes are usually stupid (the kind of stupid I will occasionally pay for) and I was excited to see what they'd do for MGSV:PP. It appears to be MGS3 related, that's fine but then there's one gripe I have...the boss' costume. It's disappointing that they did the final battle version with her zipper down. I doubt its toggle-able but I'd love to be proved wrong. I play a Female solider when I can and a cool costume of the biggest badass in metal gear will be cool...even better without the boobs showing.
BTW I have zero problem with he EVA costume, it is accurate after all.
It would probably not make a difference to me in the long run even if I might like the novelty at first. The rest of the people in here are right, that's essentially what UPF is.
It's a lazy justification but it is one. It just wasn't a 'metal gear' enough a justification for me.
It helps that she doesn't start like this by wearing appropriate combat gear in the prologue. I will be spending time fast tracking the unlockable costumes for her.
I recently played it for the fist time and none of those issues are obvious so I assume fixed. The game is still rough to play. The timeline jumping all over the place and having the same boss fight with every character sucks but its a working game. I think anyone playing it for story should go on the easiest difficulty and people who want the gameplay should avoid it.
Revelations 1 really restored my faith in the series so maybe play that instead.
