Blood Dragon's start screen couldn't have been more perfect. On the other hand, it raised false expectations that the game was fully committed to being an '80s media satire, giving no hint of the ensuing Spike VGAs-level "nerd humor" bullshit.
QUBE sabotaged itself by suddenly becoming obsessed with a new, very lame puzzle format that didn't factor in your character's physical location or movement at all. And sometimes you can actually be screwed out of finishing them by pure physics jank, after doing everything correctly yourself.
I was so disappointed because it was neat for the first 2 hours.
@csl316: That's fair, much as I like the MOON tracks, they are very repetitive. But there are just as many tracks that build and go places. For example Miami Disco, Inner Animal, Knock Knock.
Besides, there's something to be said for repetitive music when you're in the middle of a robotically efficient killing spree.
