The day I stopped giving a fuck about being stigmatized was the day I stopped feeling like I was stigmatized.

It's not about enjoying video games, it's about people who make that their defining trait and don't talk about anything else that give it a bad rap.

I love platformers like this, ones that funnel you into specific, skillful platforming with less of a focus on roaming/collecting

It makes speedrunning more fun, and the actual drive for me to go back and get the gems/relics is more substantial as a result of it not feeling incredibly overwhelming

I think it may be my specific taste, but my favorite Mario game is Super Mario 3D Land on the 3DS, which actually has a somewhat similar structure to the Crash games in this sense

I also forgot how fucking hard crash is, having just gotten a little bit past the second boss. But I love that, too many platformers start easy and don't get truly hard until the very end. Modern AAA game design has definitely nerfed the difficulty on a lot of games, so it's satisfying to return to something as unforgiving of Crash

Linkin Park and rap/rock has always been hot garbage, and this is a slight improvement, because it doesn't make me cringe quite as much.

My roommate has been begging me to watch The Leftovers for two years, and I finally agreed to watch it under the bargain he would watch the original Twin Peaks run before it comes back, something I've been begging him to do for like seven fucking years.

But yeah, The Leftovers is great and more people should watch it.

Oh you guys, I have another quick question

My average level when comparing with the "thieves network" has been on point throughout the entire game

Yet after clearing the sixth dungeon, my level is 54, and everyone's average level is 58

I went through every palace clearing every enemy in my way, so my question is, how exactly did this gap happen to me, and is it something I need to be concerned with?

It almost seems like I missed some encounters or something

Calling the big plot twist point way earlier in this thread around when the game came out with the "pancakes" bit. I feel like an ace detective

I don't see how people are insulting the writing/localization which is charming and engaging enough to suck away numerous days of my life just reading dialogue for hours at a time.

That's a success in my opinion

Compared to Tokyo Mirage Sessions which had a plot that I just could not care about at all and eventually dropped entirely.
