This topic is really confusing to me on a lot of levels.

That's just it though, a lot of the game did click with me, and as I've said, I for the most part enjoyed playing through it. I thought the dick jokes went off the rails, but otherwise, I thought the general presentation and story were just fine. I just didn't think they were so great that it made all the issues go away. I think what lost me on the review score is this notion that a person enjoying some aspect of a game can make him score the entire thing to not reflect the overall experience or problems. I'll know better going forward. 
I haven't played NMH2, but I liked the first one quite a bit. That too certainly had it's flaws, but the aesthetic, tone and overall design was so intriguing to me that I really enjoyed it. Again, wouldn't have scored it super high, but I would have given it a favorable review.

This really sucks.  I regularly delete data from other games over the years because I like to play and unlock everything over again, having the actual new game content for Resident Evil Mercenaries be a limited quantity is fucked.

Thanks Microsoft, for making us have to own a Kinect to take advantage of the promotion.  For the last two years I have bought all the summer of arcade titles and gotten introduced to some great games I would have never played due to this incentive, but this year I guess all I'm getting is Bastion.

Wow.  I guess everyone hates it when new people start playing and are figuring things out.
