Alternatively I can see some logic in combining tablet form factor with gaming-level hardware. This would combine well with Windows 8 and if they provide keyboard and mouse attachments then i think it would do well. As for Razer's effort, yeah im sure a few gullible people will fall for the flashy bright lights and keyboard but thats all. Razer is trying too hard.
Playing streaming videos on iPad seem to be the worst for me. Same scenario, the video just glitches out after a few seconds. By glitches i mean the video seems to freeze up. Sometimes the audio and progress bar will continue for a few seconds, but no video, then it just stops. Pressing play again occasionally results in some stuttery playback but then stops again. Edit: The problem seems to come from the video lagging behind the audio. Edit: Seems to be only with particular videos. The latest Ico / SotC Quick Look does it, but the new God of War QL seems to run ok.
Firstly I straight up HATE Ubisoft's DRM purely because it's another crappy layer of login shit that I don't want to experience when using Steam, but separate to that I really don't mind From Dust at all. The controls are fine and I haven't noticed any framerate slowness.
