How is this still broken, months later? I still cannot watch videos unless I watch them on youtube. What a joke.

Very shocking....

Stop with release dates years in advance. I realize they do it for share holders, but they are rarely met. Build hype for your game, but don't give me a release date until 2-3 months before.

It is silly to see preorders for digital games(minus preloading). Its even more silly to see them for games that dont release for almost a year and you know will be pushed out at least once.

So this past week a problem has started for me: Each time I click on a video a get the error message "It seems your device is having trouble keeping up!" and some livestreams such as Grubbsnax kept freezing up every other minute or so and reverting to low quality settings. I'm using chrome and the freezing issue is pretty much only when I'm on GB.

Seeing the same issue, on every video. Including old videos. No problem streaming 4k content from any other site.

Also the OLED Switch / Metroid Prime video is giving a 404

We're looking into removing this error message since it seems to be firing more often than is needed. And the OLED switch video was unpublished; it should be back soon.

Thank you sir!

I have had this problem ever since they went to the new player. Comcast. 200 down. I can stream 4k content from Netlfix instantly and without buffering. I have tested running Hulu, Netflix and Amazon prime all at the same time. Not a hitch.

And yet I cannot make it through an hour long video on GB without it buffering at least twice for around 30-40 seconds. Tonight I cannot get more than 2 minutes into a video before it buffers. This is all on Windows 10, latest Chrome and HTML5.

Whats odd is the live stuff rarely needs to buffer.

To get around this annoying issue, I have been downloading the content and that is super quick. However the reason I am posting this tonight, is even thats not working well. I can usually download 1GB in less than a minute. Tonight it has taken 30 for 900 MB

I don't shop all that often at GameStop, but I am all for this. If I buy a console and it comes with a game, I would much prefer that game to be on a disc. I collect these things after all. I like actually owning my game, and not having it tied to a service.(Yes yes, I know it is just a license). I also still collect Blurays and CDs. I will buy piece-meal music and smaller indie games through an online store however.

Of course they are only delaying the inevitable, but the digital only future is a long ways out.

What surprises me is the number EA gave out. I expected the digital owners to be much higher than 20%. I feel much better about this all digital future taking longer than expected.

I order mostly from Amazon, as they often give me a discount, and I get free same day shipping with my Prime membership. I just got Forza 6 for 53.99.

I have an Xbox One, and I am tired of this exclusivity nonsense. I will wait for bargain bin, or not pick it up at all. It's just Tomb Raider /shrug

just curious, does the SFV exclusivity bug you in the same way?

I never really minded and it's a way (if artificial) to help differentiate very similar consoles. i mean, you can make the same grumbles about first party games too (well i guess people already do in Nintendo's case).

No for two reasons:

1. I have not played a Street Fighter since the second one in arcades.

2. SFV may not have happened without Sony's involvement.

Now if it was Sony paying money just to keep it out of the hands of Xbox owners, then sure. Too often we have seen this with games, and it hurts the gamers. I would rather they spend money on new IPs or their own internal development houses then try to squeeze a few more sales out of people who cannot wait.

I wont sit here and pretend I have not purchased timed exclusives in the past, for both companies, because I have. It has just gotten old is all I am saying.
