I work at target part time and I'm going to college full time for a degree in CIS (computer and information science). I'm only in my freshman year and the only bill I currently pay is my $235 car payment, but I also have to pay for gas and smokes, so I have like no money left over to buy anything.  Really sucks, but it will pay off in a few years.

I am talking about recording sound that is running on the PC. As an example, say you were playing a youtube video and you wanted to record the audio directly from it (directly from the sound card, and not by recording it with a mic from the speakers).

Hi, does anyone know of any direct sound recording software for the PC.

I have a program that lets you create music with realistic sound, but you can only export it as midi sound, not realisitic sound. I would like to record it directly from the computer into an audio file.

Please, if anyone knows of anything, let me know. Thank you.

I thought and still think it is a good idea, however, I don't think it's a realistic one right now, too many technical and ISP problems.

I've been wondering, after you meet all the requirements for your degree to graduate, when can you actually graduate.  I mean, like if you had to go a 5th year to complete 5 classes, and you complete them during the fall and winter quarter, do you have to wait until after the spring quarter to graduate and get your degree?

Thanks, now I understand.  So how do you declare a minor, by going to your academic adviser?

Could someone help me understand what a minor in college is?  I have no idea, Whats it actually mean to minor in something? Does it go on your degree?  How many hours of another major do you usually have to complete to get a minor in something?

I would like to major in Japanese and Minor in Journalism, I'm in my freshman year so I have a little while before I have to figure things out.
