As I am wont to do, I was thinking about one of my favorite games and thought I should put together a list of them. Be warned, I am not accomplished at putting my feelings to words, so don't expect great explanations of why these are my favorite games of all time. In roughly this order...
I love the world and the story, and there are few things I wouldn't give for another Vagrant Story.
The first RPG I ever played, and I still love this game to this day even if I can see the flaws and admit that later games in the franchise are better.
I love the story, the game play, and it's got one hell of a soundtrack.
100% my shit. SCP in everything but name.
Another game with a great soundtrack, and again, I love the story.
The atmosphere, this game scared the shit out of me in ways Resident Evil couldn't even dream of.
Better than Civ. I would kill for an Alpha Centauri 2, or at least maim for an updated Alpha Centauri.
This game is exceptionally good and you should play it.
My favorite stealth game. Where the fuck is Thief 4?
I had played the original Final Fantasy, but this was the game that got me hooked on the series, something the recent releases have negated.
I can't explain it, I just really like this fucking game.
238 hours played and just started a second character. I probably put somewhere around that amount of hours into Oblivion, But I like Skyrim better.
I don't know how many times I've played through this game.

This game has a very thin plot, and the gameplay isn't all that deep, I think I just really like exploring the dungeon and the personality of this game.
Not a flawless game, but I do love this game immensely, and it has some wonderful characters.
I'm kinda cheating here, but with this one it all boils down to the fact that I love exploring the worlds in the games.
