I own mainstream board games like Monopoly, Risk, Scrabble some European board games like Settlers of Catan with the City and Knights expansion and an indie game called Last Night on Earth, the Zombie Game. Oh yeah and a big big game called Twilight Imperium which has been collecting dust cos I can't get enough people to play with me lol.

I hope they represent the Tyranid's great numbers like how they did with the Orcs in the original DOW. From the gameplay footage, it looks quite small then what you would see on the tabletop.

Hey people I created and filled out a Vault Boy character page and I really think the pictures of him should be removed from the PIPBoy device page since the mascot for that character is actually a mascot called Pipboy lol. Can someone transfer the pictures over to the character page, I'm having troubles attaching the pictures from the vault boy gallery into his character page thanks!

I think you guys should check out the latest video interviews of OFP 2, it has a bit of gameplay at the side  of the screen cos the cameraman was more interested in videoing the developers face lol. First peek video and interview about the game's AI.

"Tyranids have been around for 13 years now? It's about time they finally made it to a video game. Looks like they want to compete with the Zerg.  Also, check your history. Tyranids aren't from our galaxy, they're from another galaxy or in the outer regions.  That said, I really need to go pick up the old Space Marines games & try them out. I haven't played a video game of WH40k since Space Hulk came out back in the early 90s."
Yeah I remember playing the "new"? version of Space Hulk, even though it was nothing like DOW with its real time gameplay I actually liked it quite alot for its concept.

Got the info from Kotaku website. Here

The tyranids have been announced and here are the screenshots to prove it.

And here is the latest trailer with the tyranids that had been edited out of the video before the announcement.

I for one welcome more xenos to the battlefield so that I can purge more alien ass from the Galaxy. The Greater Good will lead the way! If you want to read a preview of how they operate in the game and some in-game footage of them in action you can go to this Gamespot article. Enjoy :)

I see thanks for the heads up on that. I was pondering on whether I should have added the Xbox version in but thanks for the feedback. I'll leave the Xbox version in my opening posts though, I think I will let the moderators decide on this since they may conclude that the changes may not be enough to consider having an entry for just for itself and instead just be noted on the main Operation Flashpoint article.

The Operation Flashpoint game should just have this entry : http://www.giantbomb.com/operation-flashpoint-cold-war-crisis/61-5333/

These few games should be merged together with the first as they are mostly a repackage of the same game for PC but with expansions or what not:

  1. http://www.giantbomb.com/operation-flashpoint-gold-edition/61-20254/        -----      Operation Flashpoint: Gold Edition
  2. http://www.giantbomb.com/operation-flashpoint-game-of-the-year-edition/61-19299/   -----    Operation Flashpoint (Game of the Year Edition)
  3. http://www.giantbomb.com/operation-flashpoint-elite/61-19649/               -----             Operation Flashpoint: Elite
  • The 1st one is basically the original game with the Red Hammer campaign added.
  • The 2nd one is a repackage of the Gold Edition but it includes the expansion pack Operation Flashpoint: Resistance.
  • The 3rd game is the Xbox version of Operation Flashpoint.

Would be great if this mess be sorted soon thanks.

Frank Klepacki and some stuff from Inon Zur's works like Dawn of War really got to me emotionally both while playing the games and outside while listening to them standalone.
