Alex, I'm one of "those guys" - been following the crew since the Gamespot days, I feel like I know you guys, even though i personally don't, ya know? I just want to extend my deepest condolences to you for all the shit you've had to endure this year. As someone old enough to have lost people close to me, I know how heartbreaking it can be. I'm also a cat owner, and to hear the tale of your kitty cat's life was both heartwarming and saddening. Your drum and trucking streams helped me get through the year, as they did many of the site's fans. I'll echo other's sentiments in saying that you're a hell of a writer, and you've really put it all out there. As someone that also deals with anxiety and depression, this year has been hard for me to get through, but I think it took your article here for me to really process that I've been have a hard time of it. It's stuff like this that makes this not just one of the best video game websites, but one of the best websites on the whole damn internet. Thank you Alex. Thank you so, so much. Let's hope we don't have a year like 2020 for the rest of our collective lives.

Oddly enough, THIS was the Resident Evil that made the older Resident Evil games "click" for me. It was a game that I was intrigued by, once I understood the (aptly put by Dan) "Adventure" style puzzles. It was because this game clicked for me that I went on to play (and beat) Resident Evil 2, which is a fantastic game.
