The Ever-growing Pile of Shame

Yup, I keep looking over my shoulder to where I keep piling up those great games I've bought the past couple of years on sale and have yet to make any dent on it. It's annoying how now that I'm older, I'm capable of purchasing all the games I really want to play, but can't make enough time to play them, and yet when I was younger, I could only choose from so few and had so much more free time. Things sure were a lot simpler back then, BUT I wouldn't have developed my discerning attitude I have toward games which I have grown to appreciate if I had access to whatever I took a glance at. Nodding my head, one day I'll make time for them all, and I shall feel proud...or ashamed, cause who knows what the hell's gonna come out in the future XD

Procrastination

It's understandable to buy games you want to play in advance while you're still making your way through your current game, kinda like Netflix, or more accurately Gamefly but I don't use them so fuck that (Really grew out of renting years ago). But anyways, it just gets ridiculous when that pile of games starts getting into the dozens and a bunch of them are still in their wrapping. "I mean come on!", I keep asking myself because games are meant to be played and yet all you're doing is just collecting these products you have decided are worth your cash and yet you take forever to get to them while they themselves collect dust.

But it's not just me because it's just proof that over the years there have just been several great games being pumped into the industry and if you have a passion for these things then these are just some great examples. By all means, please buy them to help support the developers so that more magnificent pieces of work can be created. Regardless, if you're gonna get a game, the developers really would like you to play it, otherwise their efforts might seem like a waste. So, no matter how long it may take me, I'm gonna try my damnedest play through each and every one of those games; not just because I feel obligated to do it, but because I knew that when I decided to buy them that as play them I'll have the time of my life and have something to remember so that maybe I'll have something else great to pass onto future generations.
