Games I have completed (Current) - New

I keep track of games i have beaten on all platforms I have and on which date I did it. I started it somewhere in 2008 but there were many before which I can't remeber to order of then.

List items

  • 11/5/2012. PC. It was a better game than I exacted. The story is cool though somewhat dumb. Graphics are nice and the facial animation is way better than it should. Gameplay totally makes you feel like a badass with cool powers. You can see the twists all the way through coming but it was fun nonetheless. I'm glad I've played it.

  • 28/5/2012. PC. Another Blizzard game which is always EPIC. The story was good, the game play is addicting as hell (no pun intended) and feels very dynamic and fluid. Had very little issues with the servers. The graphics are ok but not great with the exception of the prerendered cinematics which are superb. Finished it only on normal mode but am going to try nightmare and some other classes. Overall it is a great game and a must play. I wonder what Blizzard will do for the expansion since this is the first Diablo game to end on a positive note.

  • 3/6/2012. Xbox 360. Been playing this game at short bursts, just a little each week since it came out in Europe. I didn't get burnt up on it by the end like many do. I did like the story. There is nothing else quite like it out there. The anime style is cool, and the puzzles are fun though I did play on easy. I imagine that not being able to undo change will be extremely frustrating. Over all, good game.

  • 14/6/2012. PC. While it is a good game, I didn't enjoy this one as much as I did the first two games from Remedy. It felt like a Rockstar game, which isn't a bad thing, but not what I was hoping for. While the story was OK and the graphics are fine, I most enjoy the voice acting. It was great hearing the original Max Payne once again. As for gameplay, the bullet time took a back seat for cover mechanics which I felt was a wasted opportunity. The painkillers mechanic from the original games returned but in 2012 it felt a bit unfair and at times even broken. The worst though were the WAY to long levels. Most of them drag just way too long. Overall though, it was a good game which I enjoyed playing.

  • 16/6/2012. PC. Finished Episode 1. Was short but good. I liked it though I wonder how it would look if the art style remained more true to the graphic novel black and white. Overall a nice package. Waiting for episode 2.

6/7/2012. PC. Finished Episode 2. It was intense! While I did see the twist coming, it was a great ride. Better than episode 1. Can't wait for the next one.

1/9/2012. PC. Finished Episode 3. Best episode yet. Heavy emotional stuff. Keep this up and this might be my game of the year for 2012.

12/10/2012. PC. Finished Episode 4. While a great and intense episode, I didn't like it as much as the 3rd episode. It still great though. waiting for the season finale.

24/11/2012. PC. Finished Episode 5. This was shorter than all other episode while also be very emotional near the end. However, I didn't like it so much as it didn't feel like it gave me enough choice. People were going to die no matter what path I took. I kinda liked and hated the ending at the same time, but I can guess that is what telltale was going for. As for overall, this entire season was fantastic it is a strong candidate for my 2012 game of the year.

I believe there will be a season 2 but time will tell(tale).

4/7/2013. PC. Finished 400 days. While way shorter than a proper episode, it did feel like a new direction for the walking dead. We are introduced to a few characters in 5 different "scenes". It will all carry into season 2 so it is worth the 90 minutes it takes to finish this "episode". Waiting for season 2.

  • 26/6/2012. PC. A first person puzzle game from one of the creators of the original Portal, you can't go wrong with that, right? Well, the game is enjoyable with a lot of good intentions but several issues hold it back from true greatness. First the environments are really blend. A lot of empty corridors which look the same which is boring. Also it's not as funny it tries to be. No great evil whity antagonist like GLaDOS (or even an antagonist at all). The puzzles are also not memorable and some even after you know what to do you fail and need to again and again becuase of controls issues. First person platforming is never great and this remains true here. Also the ending is very anticlimactic and disappointing. Also, while it is short, it felt longer than it had to be. All in all it looks like I was pretty critical against the game but in truth I did mostly enjoy it. Sadly though, I wanted to like it more than I actually did.

  • 28/6/2012. PSP. Finished my latest endurance run. Took 6 months to complete it with play time standing at 51 hours and 9 minutes. This is a great JRPG. Mostly likely the best one you never played. While the graphics are outdated and there is no voice acting, the music is great and story is fun and engaging throughout. The battle system is cool and unique. The story ends with a cliffhanger and there is a second installment. I hope it gets translated.

  • 30/6/2012. iPad. I finished all 4 episodes of the game, playing one episode every couple of weekends. It was nice enough on the iPad. The story was ok, fitting for a movie while the graphics are fine. The gameplay was nice on the iPad but I can see why people hate it on other platforms. I didn't find it horrible though. But yes, it is in the end of the day just a big long quick time event. The voices were well done and the music is cool. Overall I did mostly enjoy it.

  • 4/7/2012. PC. Finished this dumb fun action game. It was cool with an original concept. The story was mostly bullshit but with whitey lines at times. Too much cursing but that's what they were going for. Graphics were great and I mostly enjoyed it. It last 5 minutes too long tough. Anyways, good game and it's a shame it will most likely never get a sequel.

  • 15/7/2012. PC. I know i'm quite late to the party but this was a fine ass game. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. The graphics are nice, the soundtrack is awesome and the gameplay is varied and interesting all the way through. Each mission is crazier than the last and it all come down to be one hack of a package. This was a cool game and I'm glad I finally had the chance to play it.

  • 5/9/2012. DS. Another Layton game. The last one on the DS. It is better than unwound future. Not so many sliding puzzles this time around which is always good. The characters were cool though the Descole and Loosha are weird. The anime cut-scenes continue to impress on the DS. Most of the puzzle were great. Will dive again for some missed puzzles.

  • 4/11/2012. PC. While I was never a fan of the original XCom, I found myself easily addicted to the chess like feel of the combat and the meta game of running your base. It had a great feeling the whole way through and I've enjoyed it way more than I ever expected. The graphics are better than they ought, and sound is great. The story is OK but nothing the write home about. The final boss fight and the ending sequence are anticlimactic though. Still, don't miss out on this great game.

  • 5/11/2012. PS3. Finally got around to this game (about 6 months too late). All I have to say is this: Beautiful.

  • 26/11/2012. PC. This was great stealth game. I liked the mechanics and the art a lot. The story is mostly forgettable, but the twist at the end is surprising. I didn't see that one coming. I didn't like the choice at the end as neither ending felt truly satisfying. Still, this is a great game and I enjoyed playing it.

  • 13/12/2012. DS. Another endurance run comes to a close. While this is a very good game, with great characters, awesome soundtrack and a clever story, I can not miss Phoenix in the leading role. Still, this game was a lot of fun and any ace attorney fan should play it. I hope capcom will soon cave and release the sequel in English. Well, I guess we will return when Ace Attorney 5 releases in the future.

  • 19/1/2013. PC. I was surprised how much I liked this game. It is barely a game. It's mostly an interactive story. But what a story that is. It reminds me of inception. It was great fun and short. I'm glad I've played it and no one should skip this.

2/1/2014. PC. Played the new mini episode. It's fun seeing these characters again even if it's only for like 30 minutes or so. It's free, you should play it. Waiting for the next game from freebird games.

  • 9/2/2013. iPhone / iPad. I didn't like it at first but after a few runs it got it's hooks into me and I liked it a lot. Great and very enjoyable game.

  • 25/2/2013. 3DS. It is the sequel to 999. While it is great and I loved playing it all the way through, it wasn't as good as the original. The production value is clearly higher being polygonal graphics, full VO and better puzzles. I did see some of the twists coming but the reveal was exciting none the less. I ended up playing the European 3DS version which is clearly inferior compared to all other version out there as it doesn't have the English VO which sucks and it has a game ruining save bug which can delete your entire progress. Clearly the version to get is the North American Vita version. But since I don't have a Vita and I wasn't going to buy one just for this I had to settle for this version. Still though, it's a great game. I'm looking forward to the next one when ever it comes out.

  • 5/3/2013. PS3. A short little art games. It has a cool idea, though the story wasn't so captivating and the puzzle weren't the best. I wanted to like this one more than I actually did. It still had a cool are style and it was worth the short play through.

  • 24/3/2013. PC. Wow. I really enjoyed this one. It was on my radar since E3 and it looked great back then and it still was when it came out. During the play it felt like a mix of Lost, Arkham asylum and Uncharted. The graphics were great and the game play was a whole lot of fun. The story was the weakest point but it was still quite thrilling. A good package all around. Extremely recommended.

  • 2/4/2013. PS3. It was a cool game. I came in expecting it to be short, but some of the boss battle took me really long. This isn't an easy game either, it's quite hard to execute correctly. The idea is cool, but the game doesn't explain it's mechanics well enough. Visually it looks good and it sound just fine. It was a cool and crazy Metal Gear experience.

  • 10/4/2013. PC. Excellent Game. It does capture the old bioshock feel and adds it's own twist to it. The story is great and the shooting is fine. Visually it looks stunning and all of the original music is fantastic. The ending is crazy. If you played the original Bioshock and enjoyed it, play this game.

  • 26/4/2013. PC. Another fine and solid installment from Blizzard. The story is at times predictable, but enjoyable non the less. The mission are excellently varied through out the campaign where you never to the same thing twice. There also a lot more pre rendered cinematics compared to wings of liberty which is great. I liked alot, more than I expected I would. Can't wait for the final part, legacy of the void.

  • 8/5/2013. PC. The famous indie game. It is quite cute and clever and has a lot of charm. The puzzles and mechanic are cool. The sound track is great and the visuals are a treat. Some of the later puzzles are quite difficult and of curse, there is more to this game than meets the eye at first glance. I'm glad I've finally played it.

  • 14/5/2013. iPad. Played the Special Edition on the iPad. I finished this game so many times before over the years. It was nice seeing it updated with better graphics and full voice over. The developer commentary is also cool. Still holds up.

  • 5/6/2013. PC. What an incredible game, and it's even more amazing that it's all the work of one guy. In controls are great and the design is superb. I loved the art style, characters and story. Can't recommend this one enough.

  • 4/7/2013. PS3. While it is a great and wonderful game, I wasn't floored by it like many people did. The story was great, game play was mostly unique, voice and music were all good. But, I didn't like the shooting so much and some mechanic felt clunky. It is a great game, but it's not my all the favorite.

  • 7/8/2013. PC. My first game ever completed from beginning to end in the US. It's a cool indie puzzle game. Nice voice acting and concept. It's a bit too long and some levels are a bit repetitive. The music is very nice. I liked it. Nice game.

  • 15/8/2013. PC. A fantastic indie experience. Very original concept. Addicting score. Play it!

  • 17/8/2013. PC. Did this one in a single sitting. While it didn't run great at all on my laptop, it was a very interesting experience. This is a great example of passive story telling done right while also tackling hard issues. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

  • 14/10/2013. PC. Finished episode 1. I didn't expect it (and i'm not sure why), but this is one great game. On par with The Walking Dead. Enjoyed it a great deal and i'm impressed with the idea and setting. Signed up for the season.

04/02/2014. PC. Finished episode 2. It's been way longer then I expected it to be between episode. About 3 and half months. But we did get the first episode of the walking dead season 2 in that time so I guess I can't complain too much. Anyways, I still really like this game. This episode is a bit slower and shorter, but it doesn't mean it's not good. I like the story, the tone of the world, the voice acting and the visuals are a real treat. Every screen shot looks like it's from the comic book. I think I'm going to start reading the comics once this season is over.

13/4/2014. PC. Finished Episode 3. Continues to be great. Continues to be short. Continues to looks great. Waiting for the next episode...

27/5/2014. PC. Finished Episode 4. The season continues being strong. Everything I liked before I still like here. Still short as well. Only compliant is that the place it ends isn't so thrilling. Waiting for the finale.

9/7/2014. PC. Finished Episode 5. While a fine episode, this one was my least favorite. Plot and visuals are still strong. I feel like I might have missed some things by not having read the books. The end points to another season, though I doubt we will have one any time soon seeing that Tell Tale have their hands full.

  • 20/10/2013. PC. A very interesting title about player choice. Was really impressed by it. Highly recommended.

  • 2/11/2013. PC. A very unique and interesting game. Kind of short, but worth your time. It looks really nice and the music is memorable. The ending is very emotional and depressing. Glad I've played this one.

  • 12/11/2013. PS3. Another Quantic dream joint. While this game is very ambitious and unique, I didn't end up liking it as much as I hoped I would. The actors give a fine performance and the story is interesting at first, but fails to deliver. Some chapters are just way too long. Heavy rain was a better game in my opinion. Still, it wasn't a bad experience. I'm glad I've played it.

  • 7/12/2013. 3DS. Another Layton installment. The twist is obvious but the puzzles are good, and the ending as always crazy. This time it ended with a cliffhanger. The daily puzzles are kind of disappointing. Waiting for the next one.

  • 17/12/2013. PC. Finished Episode 1. It's been a while since I've finished a game on release date. Anyways, the season starts strong. Liking it so far. However, this episode was way too short clocking under 2 hours. The cliffhanger wasn't in a good spot, and there were some weird animations glitches that took me out of the experience. But it's nitpicking. Voice acting is great and story is thrilling. Can't wait for the rest of the season.

5/3/2014. PC. Finished Episode 2. This season keeps on being great. It is fantastic and tense all the way through. My only Compliant is that it is really short. About 90 minutes or so. I remember that the episodes in season 1 were at least double that. Also, Michael Madsen's characters is done extremely well. This could end up being game of the year again.

14/5/2014. PC. Finished Episode 3. Unfortunately, this episode was the worst episode so far. It's a great season, just this episode was lack luster. It didn't get to me like the other episodes did. Still short as always. Waiting for (a hopefully better) episode 4.

23/7/2014. PC. Finished Episode 4. This episode picked things up. This one kept me at the edge of my seat. Really liked it. Short as always. I hope we don't have to wait long for the season finale.

31/8/2014. PC. Finished Episode 5. This episode was on the slower side. Not too much action. Motivation of the some of the characters near the end left me puzzled. Why did they do what they did? It felt a bit forced. As if the writers had make you stay alone in the end. Even though, I still enjoyed it. The end was heartbreaking but no where near the levels of the Season 1 finale. I wonder where Season 3 will take us and i'm defiantly going to play it. I just wish this episode was a bit better.

  • 23/12/2013. iPhone. A really cool game. It's more Ace attorney then Professor Layton but a little easier. Only the last case is somewhat closer to what Ace attorney does. Still it's worth the play through. The soundtrack is addictive, but the animations could be better. Also, it's part of the Layton universe for no reason. I think it would be better if it stood on it's own.

  • 31/12/2013. PC. A nice little Indie game. Fun mechanics and writing. Kinda short but it doesn't need to be any longer. Really enjoyed it.

  • 7/1/2014. iPhone. A really interesting and unique "text" adventure. Smart puzzles with a "Lost" like story. Worth the short play through. I also really liked the song "Anna" by Jonathan Eng. If you want something unusual, play this one.

  • 29/1/2014. PC. Finished Act 1. While I like Tim Schafer games, this one didn't got it's hooks into me like the older games. The graphics looks fine, but not great, voice work is quite good and the story is unique while also leaving at an interesting cliff hanger. My main problem with it is I wish it was funnier. The puzzles also could be more challenging but that's not the main issue with the game in my opinion. I needs some more/better jokes. It's something Telltale were able to nail with Sam and Max and Tales of monkey island, but it's missing here.

Anyways, i'm holding full judgment until I play Act 2.

30/4/2015. PC. Finished Act 2. After Over a year between act which way too long, I've finally played the second act and completed the game. Most of my problems from act 1 remain true here. Puzzles are slightly harder, but otherwise everything I said about act 1 still stands. Wish it was funnier. Ending is also quite disappointing in my opinion.

  • 15/3/2014. PS3. Finished the video feature. It is a great game, I can't wait to finish dark souls now.

  • 16/3/2014. PC. It is a very nice game. I played it on hard but it was still quite easy to beat. The art style is great and exactly what it needs to be. The jokes are funny and setting is fun. My only compliant is that at the very last hour I started getting visual bugs of charters disappearing from screen which was annoying. Otherwise it was a great play through.

  • 28/8/2014. 3DS. It's been a while since I've beaten a game as I was playing so much Hearthstone. Anyways, while I did enjoy it, this game didn't impress me as much the others in the series did. The polygonal animation isn't as beautiful as the 2D art back in the day. Also wish there was more focus on Pheonix, and some more of Trucy. I didn't like Blackquil so much either. And the fact the Apollo and Trucy are siblings but don't know about was left unaddressed. Sound track was great as always though, and it was fun seeing Edgworth and Pearls again. And the DLC was one crazy case. All in all it was fine playthough, but the not the best I've played.

  • 1/9/2014. PC. This was a dumb little game. It get a bit repetitive but clocking in at 2 hours it's good enough. Final 2 level need some precision that the control doesn't allow so it can get a bit frustrating.

  • 8/9/2014. PC. I need some action. I didn't play such a game in a while. It is a bit longer then it needs to be, and it's completely ridiculous, but it's still fun. Unreal engine looks fantastic as always.

  • 11/9/2014. PC. I understand what it was trying to do, and all hats to'em for trying, but it didn't hit me really. Didn't enjoy it really. Meh.

  • 13/9/2014. PC. What a disappointing game. I was hoping for something like Ghost Trick, but this was no where even close. There is no real detective work. Most of the clues during the investigation are only there to distract you. The stealth sections are pointless, annoying and detract from the game. I wanted to like this game, but couldn't. Glad i'm done with it.

  • 15/9/2014. PC. While it is no Bastion, SuperGiant didn't disappoint. It is a fine game with fantastic visuals and deep fighting mechanics once you get the hang of it. Very cool.

  • 26/9/2014. PC. Fantastic game. Reminds of the original Portal (without the humor). Challenging puzzles near the end. Looks great. Loved it.

  • 8/10/2014. PC. Wow. This game was way better than I expected it to be. The nemesis system really is incredible. I enjoyed it a lot. While the story isn't great, it is still entertaining. A really great game. One of the best this year.

  • 9/10/2014. PC. This game was kind of Insane. Being you can program the game how you like, you can break it in so many ways. And solving some of the puzzle can be hard (until you get the debug tools). It's not for everyone, but I'm glad this game exists.

  • 12/10/2014. PC. Finally got around to playing the expansion. Since I didn't remember much, I replayed the entire game before going into the 5th act. That final act is long and also arguably the best act. There is a lot of pay off with all the characters, and it is very well done. No wonder Blizzard is my favorite developer. I wonder what is next for Diablo. Maybe we will have some news in the upcoming Blizzcon.

  • 16/10/2014. PC. It's hard for me to describe this one. While I can't call it enjoyable or entertaining, it was very interesting. Very educational. The art looks great. Easy game to recommend to anyone interested in history.

  • 13/11/2014. PC. A nice and simple yet enjoying story from the creator of "To The Moon". While it's not as good as to the moon, it is still very nice and worth playing through.

  • 6/12/2014. PC. Finished Episode 1. Another fine tell tale adventure. While I didn't like the art style, the story and characters are amazing. The end of the episode was truly shocking and I didn't see it coming at all. Kudos to the developers. Excited for the rest of the season.

5/2/2015. PC. Finished Episode 2. While not as amazing as the first episode, it is still entertaining. Very short, about 90 minutes or so, but well worth your time.

26/3/2015. PC. Finished Episode 3. Better story than episode 2 and slightly longer clocking in in about 2 hours. Still exciting and worth your time.

26/5/2015. PC. Finished Episode 4. Another solid entry. Again just shy of 2 hours to complete this. Ends on quite a cliff hanger.

21/7/2015. PC. Finished Episode 5. Shortest episode yet. As always, there are never easy choices, only bad outcomes. Looking forward to the finale.

21/11/2015. PC. Finished Episode 6. A gut wrenching episode. No easy choices here. It is game of thrones after all, there will be blood. My only complaint is that the story is still not finished. It looks like they want to make another season, which I'm afraid may never come...

  • 7/12/2014. PC. Finished Episode 1. Wow, this was excellent. The story was amazing and the art style was great. Felt like the good borderlands or even better. It was even longer then a usual tell tale episode. I liked the characters, music, everything. Superb package all around. Was even better than game of thrones. Good job tell tale. Next episode can't come sooner.

20/3/2015. PC. Finished Episode 2. This was a long wait between episodes. This episode was shorter and not as funny as the first. The charterers are still likable ans the story has potential. I hope we will see the next episode sooner rather then later.

27/6/2015. PC. Finished Episode 3. A long wait between episodes again. Same problems as with episode 2. Too short and not as funny as Episode 1. Still enjoyable, but I hope the series picks itself back up.

19/9/2015. PC. Finished Episode 4. This episode was the best since the first one. I really enjoyed the premise. The Hugo fight scene was awesome and very unique. Really enjoyed this one.

22/10/2015. PC. Finished Episode 5. It is unfortunate that the finale was really disappointing and felt like it was mostly filler. A series which started as one of the most unique stories I've seen from telltale in a while, ended on a whimper. I wish the finale would have been more interesting and funny.

  • 26/12/2014. PS3. It's been a while since I've played a Metal Gear game. I started playing this game years ago on the PSP, but never finished it. Now I've restarted it on the PS3 with HD version. The story is good, as a sequel/side story to the events of MGS3. The voice acting is great and comic book art style is cool. The short missions structure is good as you don't burn out on the game. However, the boss fights are disappointing. As the other games in the series have such convoluted and unique bosses, the ones in this game are BORING. Shame. Over all, a good game. Now I can start working on ground zeros.

  • 27/12/2014. PC. Ground zeros is the prologue to the Phantom Pain. While the story is shorter then an average tell tale episode, production value is off the charts. It's hard to appreciate it all if you didn't play peace walker as this a direct sequel. Also, it can be distracting at times to have Kifer Sutherland instead of David Hayter if you ever played any of the previous games. I'm not why they had to change. Maybe Kojima has some plan, I don't know. I didn't do the extra missions yet, maybe some other day...

  • 5/1/2015. PC. Wow! I loved this game. Feels like Portal (minus the GlaDOS humor). Tons of puzzles and will keep your mind working for a while. My only complaint is that some of the stars are extremely hard to find, almost to the point of being unfair. Otherwise, it is a great game.

  • 16/2/2015. PC. Finally got around to play this game. It is tremendous. Very well executed. The opening scene is one of the best in recent years. Unfortunately, Vaas is really underutilized. I wish there was more of him. It gets a bit repetitive in the ending is predictable in spots. The ending is disappointing. Still, it is a fantastic game and fun ride. Well worth your tine.

  • 28/2/2015. Vita. What a crazy game. While the graphics are outdated, they don't ruin what is a very original and unique story with interesting characters. While it is a very long game, I enjoyed it a lot, even if it does drag at times. The ending is MGS2 levels of insane, which is good. This game however, is not for everyone. Me, I'm looking forward to playing the sequel.

  • 15/3/2015. PC. This game is extremely challenging and will demand a lot from you. While it may look like just another metroidvania style game, it requires a lot of precision and precise timing. The visual and sound track are great. Well worth playing.

  • 15/5/2015. PS4. My first game on the PS4. This was a fantastic game. Very challenging. Looks great and plays amazingly. Story is cryptic so it's not for everyone. Got the true the ending. Must have for PS4 owner. Can't recommend it enough.

  • 29/5/2015. Vita. You think the first game was crazy? Think again. This one surpass it. While the graphics are slightly better (but still outdated) it is again not a problem. The characters are great, interesting and likable. The soundtrack is addicting. The story is great. While it way longer than it needs to be and drags at times, it's still worth it. I didn't care the actions sequences, but they are not too bad. The ending is beyond the levels of MGS2 crazy. I've never thought I'd see such a day. This is not for everyone, but if you want a WILD ride, you should try this. I hope there will be a 3rd one in the future.

  • 31/5/2015. 3DS. A cool yet weird mashup of the proffesor Layton and Ace Attorney series. While the story is fine, and the puzzles are fine and the cases are fine, it's only that. Fine. No true greatness. It's a bit longer than it needs to be. Clocked for me at 34 hours. Enjoyable, but not a must play. Ending is kinda crazy though. A very Layton ending.

  • 24/6/2015. iPhone. The sequel of 10000000. Just as fun as the original with some new twist. Higly recomannded for thsoe who love match 3's.

  • 27/6/2015. PC. A small little gem I ran across. A lovely little and interesting experience. You need to piece together this open ended story with a twist. Only about 3 hours longs but it is really good. If you like figuring things out for yourself, spend some time with this game. Well recommended.

  • 9/7/2015. PS4. This is a good game. I've enjoyed it. Arkham Asylum is still my favorite in the series though. But this was better than Arkham City. I was also able to predict the identity of the Arkham Knight before the reveal. Mark Hamil's performance as the Joker is superb. Jonathan Banks as Gordon is under used. Also, way too many riddler trophies like in city. All in all, it was a fine game. Very enjoyable.

  • 18/7/2015. PC. One of the most EPIC rpg's ever made. Fantastic game, amazing visuals, terrific voice acting and a thrilling story. What more can you ask for? Can't praise this game enough. A must play. With over 80 hours of great game play, this one is for the ages. This is worth your time.

30/9/2016. Finished Hearts of Stone Expansion. It's been long enough for me to forget how amazing The Witcher 3 actually is. This expansion adds a short story (and by short I mean like something around 12 hours) that was very unique and interesting. The voice acting and everything from the original is still great. If you have the time and strength to endure more witching, this one is really worth your time. Planning on play the 2nd expansion Blood and Wine in the near future.

20/4/2017. Finished the Blood and Wine Expansion. It is finally over. I've done everything I've set to do in the Witcher 3. This last expansion remains great and keeps the high level of quality the main game had throughout. It's been nearly 2 years since I started the game, and to this day, it is still the best RPG I've ever played. I doubt any other game will come close to it any time soon. This expansion was enormous. A lot of quest, great acting and fantastic story line. It's one of my favorite games of all times. Any studio making an RPG need to take lessons from CD Project Red.

    This game is a masterpiece.

  • 18/7/2015. PC. A small little gem of a title about game development. If you into game dev, this is a must play. Only 3 hours long. Well worth it.

  • 1/8/2015. PC. What a fun little game that will remind you of the good old fmv games of yore. It is cheesy but that is intended. Enjoyed it and hoping that will be more of it.

  • 1/8/2015. PC. Finished Chapter 1. This is a worthy successor to the old Kings Quest games. The puzzles while not too hard, are more challenging than Tell Tale have been offering lately. Christopher Lloyd does a good job as king Graham. The story is good and I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Hoping it will come sooner rather than later.

  • 4/8/2015. PC. Finished Episode 1. This adventure games is in the style of the Tell Tale games (though it is way slower). I enjoyed the story of episode 1 even though it felt incomplete. The time rewinding mechanic is interesting. I'm looking forward to playing the rest of the episodes.

7/8/2015. PC. Finished Episode 2. Continues to be interesting. This reminds me of Veronica Mars (if she had super powers). It's worth mentioning that this game has one very bad lip syncing, but it doesn't detract much from the experience. Enjoying it so far.

12/8/2015. PC. Finished Episode 3. Good episode. I liked the butter fly effect twist at the end. There is more than meets the eye in this game. Excited to be playing the rest of it.

26/8/2015. PC. Finished Episode 4. Best and longest episode yet. There some actual puzzles in this one, and the story is finally picking up steam. Excited for the finale.

29/11/2015. PC. Finished Episode 5. A good episode. While it's weird that the final choice is so binary, I enjoyed the journey. Easy game to recommand.

  • 3/10/2015. PC. An interesting peace about game development. A personal story. It was very interesting. I enjoyed walking through it.

  • 12/12/2015. PC. A very interesting indie adventure game. While the premise is unique, and the atmosphere is great, I didn't enjoy the shooting mechanics in the game. They feel out of place. Also, I've encountered several bugs during my play through which is unfortunate. All in all though, a very enjoyable game. Looking forward to the sequel.

  • 29/12/2015. PC. A interesting game I only heard about after hearing the 1st day of the GiantBomb GOTY podcast. Austin Walker talked about it being a pleasant surprise. While the game is unique, I didn't fall for the story. It was interesting, but the ending was kind of anti climactic. I understand it is based on a true story, but I don't feel this story was so special. As I played WoW for years, and had similar experiences, there was not unique to this story.

It is short and I'm glad I had the chance to play it through.

  • 4/1/2016. PC. What an incredible game! I totally did not expect to like it at all, but it was truly remarkable. I can not state how impressed I was. The level of details and options is amazing. The game keep surprising you constantly and the soundtrack is addicting as hell. I highly recommend you play this one!

  • 29/1/2016. PC. This is a very interesting indie adventure game. While it doesn't have many puzzles, the story is interesting and the characters are good. The voice acting is great and there are some really nit visual effects. Easy to recommend if you have free 4-5 hours.

  • 4/2/2016. PC. This game has more to it than you might think at first glance. It is a very original an unique concept. Very amusing. I enjoyed this game very much. Short playtime. Easy to recommend. Well worth your time.

  • 9/2/2016. PC. This game is incredible. It will challenge your brain in ways you never thought possible. It looks fantastic, and there a ton of puzzles. Maybe even too many.

    Don't miss this one.

  • 14/2/2016. PC. This was a very unique and fresh experience. There isn't any other game quite like it. It is mainly story focused and and the story/mystery is good. Voice acting is superb. It looks great and I really enjoyed. While the ending is a bit disappointing, If you have a free 4 hours or so, you should give this one a try.

  • 21/2/2016. PS4. I've finally finished this one. While it is not as great as the first Dark Souls, it is still a very good game. The world doesn't feel as connected, and most of the environments are kind of flat. However, the combat is tight and the gameplay is addictive. I'm glad I finally beat this one. I'm considering going through the DLC as I haven't yet and I'm told it is the best part of the game, but I might need to take a break. We will see...

  • 24/2/2016. PC. Finished Episode 1. This episode was really short. about 90 minutes or so. It is one of the weaker episodes in the series. It feels like a side story (which it is). I will play all of the episodes, but I'm really looking forward to season 3. I wanted to continue the main story with Clem.

31/3/2016. PC. Finished Episode 2. This episode was even shorter than the previous one standing at around 70 minutes. I'm also sad to say it was fairly weak. This one also has a weird bug which makes the game crawl into a slide show if you have an xbox one controller connected (which I did). Weird.

27/4/2016. PC. Finished Episode 3. That was a disappointing ending to a disappointing season. Underwhelming at best. I really wanted to like it, but it wasn't up to par with the main Walking Dead season. I hope this doesn't bode negatively for season 3 as I'm really looking forward to that one. But when it comes to this season, you can totally skip it.

  • 17/3/2016. PC. Hi [FRIEND_NAME_HERE], you have to check out this game. It's the most innovative shooter I've played in years.

  • 8/4/2016. PC. This game is pretty good. While it looks great, and the controls are spot on, the story is not the best. I've enjoyed playing this game, but I've enjoyed the original reboot from 2013 way more. It's a fun experience, and you should go through it if you have the time.

  • 9/4/2016. PC. This is a very sad story about a young boy fighting cancer. It will be hard for some to go through it. I can't imagine how terrible this kind of thing for someone to go through.

  • 12/7/2016. DS. At last, I've completed Ace Attorney Investigation 2. This game is special as it was never released officially in English. There is only a Japanese release. So I used a fan translation patch in order to play it. And boy let me tell you, The English audience is missing out. This is one of the best Ace Attorney games I've ever played. I think only the first Ace Attorney is better. The story is great, there a lot of returning old favorite charters along with great new ones. The sound track is fantastic. The art style is fantastic as the 2D hand animations really shine in this game. The story have so many great twist and turns and the way that all the cases tie back together in the end is crazy. I'm really glad I've finally had a chance to play it. Also, I have to mention the fan translation being really good. In staid faithful to the legacy of ace attorney was really well made. Job well done. I highly recommend this game if you played the others and the series and you are looking for something fresh.

  • 18/7/2016. PS4. What an incredibly epic game. The production values are through the roof with this one. It looks, sounds and feels amazing. I really enjoyed the quite moments. They were so well executed. Having said that, the shooting was my least favorite part. They were too much of it and it wasn't that fun. Still, the rest of the package is incredibly well made and this game is easy to recommend for any PS4 owner.

  • 29/7/2016. 3DS. This is the final part of the zero escape series. The story is the main attraction here. It continues to be crazy in the right places. It ends up well and all open questions are answered. It is a worthy payoff. The escape rooms are also well made, being not to long and fairly simple. The voice acting is fine for the most part. The presentation is terrible though. It would have been way better if they kept the visual novel aesthetic instead of try to animate everything. Having said that, it doesn't detract from the story. If you played 999 and Virtue's Last Reward, you have to play this.

  • 4/8/2016. PC. Finished Episode 1. This is the same as the other telltale games. The surprising part (at least for episode 1) is that it focuses on Bruce Wayne way more then Batman. The story is well done. Voice acting is also OK. It didn't wow me, but it wasn't bad. Will play the rest.

4/10/2016. PC. Finished Episode 2. Everything I said about episode 1 still stands true here. Focus keep being on Bruce Wayne. Also, the interpretations of some of the classic Batman villains seems unique (or at least unfamiliar to me). Interesting enough so far.

13/11/2016. PC. Finished Episode 3. Batman is barely in this episode at all as Bruce Wayne continues to be the focus. Weakest episode yet unfortunately.

27/11/2016. PC. Finished Episode 4. An interesting interpenetration of the Joker but his story didn't have a payoff yet. Most of the episode is pretty much setup for the finale. It was on par with previous episode. Not the best telltale has to offer.

15/12/2016. PC. Finished Episode 5. An underwhelming ending to and underwhelming season. While TellTale made unique takes on the classic Batman villains, most of the story was all the memorable. It looks like they might have plans for the Joker in season 2, but I doubt there will be one. Since the Walking Dead season 3 is planned to release next week, I have high hopes for telltale, and I wish that season will be MUCH better than this one was.

  • 9/8/2016. PC. This game is very interesting. It does feel a lot like Limbo taken to the next level. The visuals are unique and the puzzles are nice and challenging where they should be. I love the voiceless story telling, and the ending quite shocking. Didn't expect that ending. Well worth your time.

  • 15/9/2016. PC. It was a fine little jam. It's a puzzle game in the style of Portal (minus the GlaDOS humor). It succeeds it what it sets out to do. Production values are high for this small indie team. Planty of puzzles. Maybe even a few too many. Some of them are quite challenging. In any case, if you like puzzle games, this on is good.

  • 24/9/2016. PC. Man, I wanted to like this FMV adventure game. It started out so promising and it looked great. However, the plot quick became cliched and expected and there are virtually no puzzles in the game. The clicking mechanics are quite bad, and the ending doesn't make much sense. You can see "the twist" coming a mile away. Main character acting is OK, but the supporting cast isn't what it needs to be. Unfortunately, I can not recommend this one. I'm only feeling disappointed.

  • 28/9/2016. PC. This game (or feature) is very interesting. It does a lot of things right. The presentation and the art style stand out. The dynamic score is extremely good. The beginning of the story is good and intriguing and everything is presented very uniquely. However, last third of the game goes crazy a bit and story and the game suffers for it unfortunately. I liked the game and what they did with it, I just the didn't like the end of the story. All in all, it is worth the short play through.

  • 12/10/2016. Endurance run.

  • 14/12/2016. PC. This is the first game I've beaten on my GTX1080. It looks fantastic. Unreal engine 4 really shines and shows how great it can look. Unfortunately, I can't speak too highly on the rest. The story is ok, but left many open threads and unanswered questions. It feels like a part 1 of a trilogy. There some exciting moments and set pieces for sure, but for the most part it is a generic hallway shooter. Marcus is along side you for about half the game, but he is never playable. It left me wishing Marcus was the playable character instead of JD. Overall the game was ok, and it has been long enough since Gears 3 that I didn't feel the Gears fatigue, but I wish we won't have a Gears 5 in 2 years (which we probably will).

  • 20/12/2016. PC. Finished Episode 1. Imported my save from season 2. This new season starts strong. I'm feeling way more invested than I ever did during Batman's season. Clem is older now and it's good to see her again. She became quite a bad ass. Javier which is the new protagonist is also cool and I'm looking forward to seeing where this season takes him. All in all it's a promising start for this season.

22/12/2016. PC. Finished Episode 2. I'm liking this season so far. Not much to say other than it's a good episode. The twist at the end got me and I'm excited to see where the season goes next.

29/3/2016. PC. Finished Episode 3. It's been too long since the last episode. I had trouble remembering characters and motivations. The story also didn't hit it for me. No really intense nail biting moments. Clem is being under utilized. Jesus as well. Telltale can (and should) do better than this.

30/4/2016. PC. Finished Episode 4. This episode was kind of slow. It is very obvious that most of it is build up towards the conclusion in episode 5. The end was kind of exciting, but otherwise it's not great. The parts I'm actually enjoying the most are the Clementine bits. I wish she was the main character again, but I understand why she isn't anymore. It's not Javi is bad, it's just that Clem is better. I wonder though how this will all end next episode.

1/6/2016. PC. Finished Episode 5. While this episode was better than the last one, I'm sad to say I'm underwhelmed. The ending was mostly disappointing and there was not real payoff for the season long arc. I'm left with the feeling that this season could have been better. After the credits is say Clem will return (and if she will, I'll play it), but at this point I'm not sure I want a season 4. Or at least, not if Telltale change the formula up significantly.

  • 7/2/2017. PC. Finished the main game. A return to form for Resident Evil. I really liked the atmosphere and the puzzles. The design is great and it is scary the way it should be. The Baker family is a lot of fun. The first half of the game is stronger than the end, but it is still a worthy playthrough. The visuals are great and the sound design is creepy in the right ways. All in all, I really liked this game.

  • 3/3/2017. PS4. I really really REALLY wanted to like to games. I waited for it for so long, and holding shadow of the colossus at such high regard, and hearing mostly positive things post release I was hopeful. However, I can't say I enjoyed it much. I didn't feel a deep connection to Trico like most people said, which made him more a bad AI companion than a real animal. The controls were mostly frustrating, the puzzle weren't all the engaging. The story was very minimal with very few twists which I was able to see coming. Maybe if it came out like 5 years earlier I would have liked it more, but as it stands now, I can't really recommend it, and I feel bad for it. Such a shame.

  • 20/4/2017. PC. Finished Episode 1. Another Telltale story with a nice 80's soundtrack this time. Cute but not great. Not the best Telltale ever made, but also not the worst. Middle of the road. If you have some spare time, go for it.
