I recently grilled someone who has indirect knowledge on whats going on at Microsoft, and they said that all the evidence discussed in other projects (they were not on an Xbox game) is that they are not developing games for a step down console. They have no idea what will make it cheaper, but when I asked initially before discussing the rumors they said they expect it will just be missing a disc drive.

As far as they were concerned, Microsoft is gonna be putting out two identical consoles game wise. Nothing nerfed about it.

I really enjoyed it. And this is coming from someone who doesn't usually beat games. I beat it. I was even screaming at the end "that's not my ending!" when one of the characters did not have a happy ending. I checked online. It was because I made one bad choice that prevented it. Which brings me to one of the things I really like about this game. I just went to where the bad decision was, and did the other and got to see the other ending.

I really like Quantic Dreams style of games. I was also very interested in the story wanting to see what happens next in the story.

In games I sometimes play characters certain ways (to use GTA V for example, random murders I always used Trevor, Michael always stopped muggers) so with Detroit I gravitated towards certain playstyles because of what I experienced as that character (like I didn't do bad things as Kara because Alice disapproved the first time and Kara cares how Alice thinks of her).

I will be playing this game again to aim for another type of story.

So the short version of the story is I was deciding what game to buy this month. Burnout Paradise Remastered or Surviving Mars. I have EA Access on Xbox One so I have the 10 hour demo, and playing it made me remember how much I liked the game. So I was thinking "well I already own it on PS3, so why not download it and see if I need a better looking version".

Well, I went into the PS3 store and Burnout Paradise is no longer listed. I did a word search, I even went through all the games listed alphabetically and it's not there. I had to go into my transaction list and scroll all the way to 2008 to find it (and as someone who has had PS+ since before it was cool, I had a lot of stuff to scroll past).

I could redownload, and it's patching right now, but when did the game get removed from the store?

The closest GameStop only had it this last Saturday and this upcoming Saturday. While Best Buy is listed as all weekend for the next month.

One disappointing thing. I went to Best Buy since I wasn't able to play a game with the Move controller, and the guy told me that London Heist demo was GameStop exclusive (the guy at the GameStop demo said they couldn't demo the game because was M rated). I may have gotten that guy in trouble.

I have a PS4 and a WiiU. I got a WiiU for the Nintendo games. I got the PS4 because I love myself some playstation.

I've found in the past that I have enjoyed Sony exclusives more then Microsofts. Its not lost on me that this cycle has seen so few true exclusives to the PS4. I guess I back up my PS4 preference now with the fact that I cannot accept a game not running at its best resolution.

Xbox just doesn't have games that I want to play that I can't get on PS4. However, the scropio announcement has me looking.

I have a Gear VR and while playing Minecraft VR I don't experience motion sickness (moving around using a controller) and I prefer to stand so I can get a 360 degree movement (no swivel chair). However I also got a flight game that I sit down for (since I am in a cockpit) and when I do stuff like roll and turn I can feel it.

However, I played Eve Valkyrie today on the PS VR and I didn't notice anything big. I did bobble once.

I think being so early we need to find out what works and what doesn't. I don't think FPS games as we know it will make the transistion, but I can see flight games making a come back.

They have another one going this weekend. Went to the closest GameStop that was doing it and no one was there. The guy let me play almost all the demos (one they weren't allowed to do because of language and GameStops family enviorment, and the other one I just didn't want to do).

I first gotta say I am sold, and I am glad I have mine preordered (the bundle that comes with everything). The only thing that disappointed me was seeing the person after me play. It was a kid and he just stared straight ahead. I was moving around seeing what I could see around me.

I voted less then 50%, but its not gonna be that high. Being a trade show, I think Sony wants to show off VR at the show. Considering how much Move they showed off when it came out, I would be surprised if a third isn't dedicated to VR. Proper games will take about 50%. The last portion will go to numbers and non-gaming playstation products (more original PlayStation shows, PlayStation Vue, etc).

A modular xbox could work if they follow the Nintendo way of doing it instead of the Sega way.

Sega created add ons that were all know consoles basically. The 32x games didn't work on a Genesis. Or Sega CD. However Nintendo made the Game Boy Color, for example. A more powerful system, that had a lot of games that worked on both a Game Boy and Game Boy Color. Even look now to the New 3DS. It plays the old games. Most games for it work on the old 3DS, but are better on the New 3DS.

Microsoft would have to require its game be scalable. They look better on the uograded Xbox, but it still plays on the old. Then they could release one every 2 years or so and always stay ahead of the competition.

This is one of the best ones yet, and I'm broke. I can get maybe two games on this list.
