The Pens jerseys still look like practice jerseys.

@alanm26v5: It really depends on the dungeon. Level 1 or 2 fractals are easy compared to some explorable modes, but something like CoF explorable mode is one of the easier things in the game (at least for path 1 and 2). I would say the best time to start doing fractals is one of these events, because they are there to ease people into them and to teach them how they are done, so no need to worry if your gear isn't the best or if you haven't nailed down your build yet.

Updated the OP, moving Fractal Fridays to an active event. First one will be this week, so make sure to join us! (NOTE: the time is subject to change)

I'm curious if, in any game he has worked on, if there was something he designed/made that he really liked but couldn't go in game for lore reasons or it not fitting in the world.

An example would be making this really awesome floating thing but not being able to use it because it wouldn't make sense in the game world for it to float.

You sound mad bro, which means you didn't actually participate in ANY of the MMO aspect of this game. If you're a loner, yes this game is terrible. If you join the community, play with others, you can have a great time. This game really started becoming awesome once I linked up with an awesome guild on Yaks Bend *cough* Lincoln Force *cough*

BUT we actually enjoy having a good time, so maybe that's not for you.

Well, over the past seven months (although I've not played in two or three) I managed to put in 99 hours and 23 minutes into the game, pretty much all solo. That is, not being in a party or anything, just rolling with whosoever is around me. And I've been a fully signed up member to Lincoln Force since day.

Wasn't saying it's NOT possible, it's just more likely to be enjoyable in a group I've found. Don't be a lurker, come chill with us sometime! Join the guild events on Saturday, free rares! (if we don't fail)

I know, I know. I'm just super awkward and shy. Although I am thinking of getting all back up into this fine game in a couple of weeks.

If and when you do hop back into GW2, give mumble a try. I'm super shy as well and I pretty much live on our guild mumble.

Just a heads up that Saturday Night Shenanigans is tonight! Events kick off at 6PM Server time, but gather up before that way we can start right away without leaving anyone behind. We usually meet up in Gendarran Fields (just walk north out of Lion's Arch). I hope to see a lot of you in-game and on mumble tonight!

We started building Guild Rushes the other night, so I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that has purchased influence for us so far! A special thanks to @theloopymonkey, who apparently is bad at managing his in-game funds and bought a ton of influence to help finish off the Rushes. Let's keep it up!

@toastman: Usually not, because they don't charge a sub they normally don't have the game on sale that often. Your best bet would be amazon or somewhere else to find a sale price.

@dark_lord_spam: Just to give an idea of the stuff I was involved in back in the GW1 days, I managed to find the thread for one Masquerade Ball I was a part of. The guild [WTF] in that thread was the one I ran and we were part of the [SCAR] Alliance that donated most of the prizes and ran most of it. Not saying we have to do something this crazy (and honestly I doubt we even could!) but it gives you an idea of how cool these events can be.

@audiobusting: I'll echo what @edulle and @alanm26v5 have said and state that there really isnt a level req for any of the events. It comes down to luck of the draw. For example, we could get a bounty in a lower level area or we could get one in Frostgorge (a lvl 70-80 area). It all comes down to which one(s) the game decides to throw at us.
