Jeff Cobb vs Keith Lee at PWG is an amazing hoss match. I don't mean to alarm anyone but those are two very strong men. The 2017 Reseda Street Fight is probably going to wind up being my favorite death match style angle this year. Some of the dumbest violence I've seen in a while though to be fair I don't watch nearly enough DDT. Only thing that comes close is All Night Long 2. Lucha Underground is just awesome in general as of late. I'm glad someone finally realized that WMAC Masters was on to something, it just needed more murder and subterfuge.

The end of that street fight is so brilliant. I was losing my shit watching it live.

Relive the match that made old wrestlers cry.

The most surreal part of this match is still the "THIS IS AWESOME" and "HOLY SHIT" chants at friggin' Korakuen Hall of all places.

Just got back from PWG, wasn't quite as good match-for-match as the February show I attended, but Keith Lee vs. Jeff Cobb (exactly what you'd hope it would be and MORE) and the street fight between Chuck Taylor and Marty Scurll were both phenomenal. My voice is dead from cheering hard for Chucky T and telling Marty to die many, many times. Good shit.

@deepspace9mm: I mean I personally would recommend it. It's worth noting that @shinmaru007 also attended that show and I'm pretty sure he'd back me up on that. I'd even suggest pre-ordering the next show as well even though it'll probably be in post-production for at least another month. In addition to featuring a ton of awesome fresh match ups, they're both pretty pivotal parts of the Best Friends "story line" which is one of the only long-ish running narratives remaining in the promotion.

Yep, just got my copy of it today and watched it, and it's still a great show even outside of the live experience. Everything's at least solid, and Lio Rush vs. Ricochet and Trent? vs. Rey Fenix in particular are excellent matches.

@mezmero: Ha, I was so focused on 1) the action in the ring (and outside) and 2) getting the hell out of the way when wrestlers came anywhere close to my section (I was on the side closest to where Excalibur does commentary) that I didn't even notice that guy.

That PWG show last night was the most fun wrestling event I've ever attended. My friends and I had a blast, even with the delay from the ring being worked on. Great first PWG experience.

Ricochet vs. Lio Rush was my favorite match of the night. It's my favorite kind of wrestling story: young guy gives his best shot to the established vet. Even better with Ricochet being a total dickhead to Rush the whole time for daring to step to him in Ricochet's house. Trent? vs. Fenix was a close second -- the perfect way to heat up the crowd again after the unexpected delay. That got wild as hell. The hoss tag match was my most anticipated of the evening; it didn't disappoint at all. Matt Riddle's the only one I hadn't seen much of beforehand, and it was immediately apparently why everyone's going wild for him. Not just a good wrestler, but a memorably charismatic, magnetic presence. He won me over instantly.

@mezmero: Hope you get in! Very excited for this to be my first PWG show. Also hoping the rain lets up a bit by tomorrow evening, haha.

Well PWG tickets sold out in under a minute. Likely due to the hype surrounding Zack Sabre Jr. vs Chuck Taylor (fuck yeah) in addition to the typical stacked card.

Managed to snag a couple, I'm pretty excited! This will be my first PWG show and my first time seeing basically everyone on the show in person.

Loved Omega vs. Okada so much, but I really hope Naito vs. Tanahashi doesn't get totally overshadowed. What a tremendous match with a great story mirroring Naito and Tanahashi.
