Not sure about the gameplay, but I am loving the world setting, the music, and the art direction! I get strong vibes of asian mythological movies and animes. It feels so tragically epic!

I hope developer won't ruin it with stupid QTEs.

I didn't need it. I just wanted to test how much they nerfed it. Because I couldn't use it, I went two-handed and beat them to a pulp. :)

After hearing the news about the release of an update, I jumped into the abyss in order to test how much is the iron skin nerfed for the four king fight. I found out that I can't use iron skin in Abyss, but all other pyromancy spells work fine.

Did I just encountered a bug, or the devs really just banned iron skin spell in Abyss? If they just banned it for balance without making a reason in the story, then, as much as I love this game, I am very disappointed. That's just way too inelegant for my taste......

Edit: Oh, I just realized that I might still had transient curse on me during the fight, and it prevented the use of iron skin.

Didn't watch the stream(not a premium member), but I remember I really loved the music when installing the game and the main menu theme.

Go back to where the boss was. Walk straight up to the altar. Then there will be a cut-scene. When the cut-scene is over, your character will be in the new part of the level.

This will not happen, I would bet money on it. Brad likes hard games, eventhough he has a weird reputation because of his Quick Looks.

I agree. Brad had great taste for games. He knew a game is a good game when it's challenging and fair.

Don't forget that he beat Super Meat Boy, and he loved it. He also completed Arkham Asylum challenge mode. He's totally a competent gamer.

But I still feel angry when I think of the quick look of Shadow of the Colossus. :-P

Human are far smarter than gorillas. If you don't know how a gorilla is going to win a fight against a polar bear, chances are a gorilla can't find a way to win a polar bear. After all, gorillas aren't smart enough to make weapons and traps.

Polar bears are the largest and most powerful predators on land. If the gorilla is smart enough, it will try to avoid fighting a polar bear at all cost.

Shame on Famitsu. When they reviewed Demon's Souls, I thought they have bad taste for games. Now they reviewed Dark Souls, I think they have bad taste for games and no principles.
