The developers have mentioned that they are going to work on a sequel. I'd say we will see at least a second one.

I have recently attempted to remove a metal gear solid game posted in the splinter cell franchise. When you hit edit to submit it, the luchadeer comes up and then goes away not accepting the edit. Anyone else having similar issues?

"What makes me more mad is that the submissions aren't being taken in order. Another user sums my situation up nicely:

"I added a character 5 days ago, was rejected because 3 hours ago someone else created him already. Giant Bomb is flopping in this regard. They have to fix this somehow."

Here was my message from a mod because my submission got rejected:

"Your submission to George Gordon Haggard Jr. has been rejected.

Moderator Comment: Sorry, but this already exists in the database! In the future please make judicious use of the search function before attempting to add a new...well, anything! Considering the size of our database, it's more than likely what you're looking to add already exists in there, somewhere.
"

But, when I created my page, he didn't exist in the database. So now I wasted my time, putting hard work into creating a bunch of character pages, and they're all getting rejected because others submissions are getting accepted before mine, which is very frustrating. It's not even like we get some consolation points or anything for creating and putting time into an article.

"
I have to side with you 100%. I did a test and submitted exact photos I did on tuesday and they were excepted within minutes while my 5 day old submissions rot away.

I have faith that the staff will make a decision to fix this problems one way or another.

You might be right, I thought of that too. Lets just hope that they can't keep up with the amount of subs.

Wow, is that for images or text? None of mine are that bad, and I think the most you could possibly have is 4.5 days, the site launched 12:30ish AM Monday :)
"
The day the site launched I submitted a few wikis and a ton of images and they are still in queue.

Vinny said the image queues and wiki queues are different, which is why some content is being uploaded before others. Also the back of the queue is about 58 hours and in Jeff's recent blog post, he mentioned the goal was to reach the 24 hour mark. If you want to read more of Vinny's explanation, you can do so in el_dude's blog post. I guess the gist of it is they are waaay backed up right now, but they are working from back to front so hopefully you 72 hour wiki queues will be approved sooner rather than later.
"
Ya I'm fine waiting. As long as the content gets on eventually I am happy :P.

According to the podcast over 20,000 seperate submissions have been made since launch, and, I'm guessing, that it would take a long time to process all of that content with any number of moderators. "
I can't even imagine sitting in a queue that size. Good luck to the staff and any mods doing it!
"
Well my queue is going to keep increasing because I add a few hundred pics a day. I just wish some of them would start to go through the system.
"
Images are the easiest items to upload, so I am going to bet the image queue is exponentially larger than the wiki queue.
"
Yes but I have wiki queues that are about 72 hours. Maybe everything is just backed up lol.

I have to agree that this is a very annoying bug. I have uploaded over 500 images and  this system really makes it difficult.
