My friends call me "pun dog"

It's August 22. Birthday of John Lee Hooker. Lordy, this man has created like six boat loads of music.
Anyway, man. It's super hot today. Uhm, this does not have much to do with video games. I'm looking forward to The Beatles game, not much longer. Been playing quite a bit of TF2, as per usual. So I guess I'll talk about that. The drop system is a pretty funny thing. HATS themselves are a funny thing. It seems most people either have none at all, or three or more. I'm taking Valve's word for it, though. The whole thing about each class having 20+ weapons and like 10 hats... I was really expecting the trading system with the Classless update, though. Like, I wasn't even "expecting" it, I just assumed that was the point of the whole thing, the hats and all. And all that cryptic hidden stuff... There's really no way to predict where Valve is going with this. TF2 is no longer the game I bought with The Orange Box those years ago. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing these days.

The idea of a "world server" with 10,000 some people just walking around in third person, making trades and junk seems kinda fun, but is TF2 really becoming THAT game?  Would it work as such? I can see the 3D model on the loadout page having a bunch of special stuff on it within the coming months. Like not just the weapons changing, but the hat and the accessories and all that. Scouts running around with a gun that... I don't know, increases their SPD, but lowers their SP DEF and what-not.

Well, Valve's not let me down yet. These coming months make it seem as though they've bitten off much more than they can chew, with L4D2 on the way, more "promised" updates, Portal 2 and of course HL2:E3 (ahah, yeah right).

We're getting a time travel plot that strings all those games together, mark my words.

Scout's his own grandfather, or something.

Nice Clone High reference there. That's all I care to say.
