I actually like hearing English speaking people trying to speak German. Somehow they always sound like nazi soldiers as they are depicted in movies. As for the article beeing not very informative as Meowayne stated: I personally don't care about that because I visit this website for entertainment only (e.g. the funny videos) and I sympathise with the people behind it who seem to enjoy their freedom of speech since they left the boredom that now is Gamespot. You guys are doing a great job and I hope you will go on forever with it.
I bought this as part of the Larry Collection back in 1996. This game has some mad puzzles and the typical raunchy humor of a Larry Laffer game. It also had a "filth" setting. I always wondered what it changed of the game other than how far the roller-type shudder Larry sees when he looks trough a pair of binoculars at the beginning of the game would go down.
I pplayed and finished Turrican I and Turrican II on my Commodore 64 and Commodore Amiga back in the days. I even met the creator of the original games, Manfred Trenz, in person when I was at his house to fix the heating elements there. I guess the game was a success in Germany because there was nothing comparable on homecomputer systems at that time.
